    floyd mayweather is a veritable superman... the guy is doing things that no other fighter in history has ever done...and he makes it look so easy. when you really think about it, NO OTHER FIGHTER IN HISTORY HAS FOUGHT ABOVE HIIS WEIGHT FOR SO LONG WITH NEARLY SO MUCH SUCCESS. Yeah, we had guys like chris byrd who was really a middleweight and became heavyweight champ...but he didn't dominate like floyd dominates. Zab judah, RJJ and others moved up in weight and won titles and looked good doing it. but eventually they wore down...floyd is 38...been a champion for 17 years, fighting above his weight for about half that time, fighting guys who outweigh him by 20 and sometimes even 30 lbs...and he beats their A88!..and the thing is, as he gets OLDER, the guys get BIGGER and YOUNGER and he still beats them hard...and these are guys that have been training all their lives since the age of 4, 5, 6 to be fighters...and floyd beats them, humiliates them and domiinates them.

    so people say "well he hasn't had a "real" KO on a long time..." well, first of all, this is boxing, not the knockout game. You're not required to knock anybody out. Secondly, he's fighting above his weight class in EVERY FIGJHT...YOU TRY KNOCKING OUT A GUY WHO OUTWEIGHS YOU BY 25 lbs! ...and with bad hands too? And third, tell them to come in the ring at the welterweight limit and see he don't put them on a stretcher

    History will look back at floyd in wonder and awe...how the hell did he ever do this? The man is a genius! he's a god-like figure of ancient mythology. Coming generations will sing his praises just like they do with picasso and coltrane. Nobody will ever again be able to accomplish what floyd mayweather has. ... That's a unique motherfcuker for real.

    What he has done is remarkable. The amount of good names on his resume is quite something, people will say he didn't fight some at their peak, and it's true, some of them he never but to still go 46 fights with those names and not slip up or have a bad night is pretty damn good (Castillo fight is debatable) but even so....however...

    If he didn't take those vacations when there was good fighters to be fought, it leaves some obvious names from the period missing off the resume. If he had beaten those fighters like Margarito, Pacquiao etc...I think nobody could deny his greatness.

    As it stands, he is brilliant no doubt, his achievements are up amongst some of the best, pound for pound and head to head i think he could compete with any fighter in history. But there is no denying there his holes in his legacy that can be criticised, and rightly should be criticised if he wants to call himself "TBE".

    You have to dare to be the greatest, you can't just say it. Did he dare to be?

    Dude, all he did was ask pacman to take the blood test. it was pacman who refused to take the test for PED's. Not floyd, so how you gonna blame floyd for the fight not happening? Is he supposed to fight someone who is practically an admitted cheater?

    You clearly need to watch more boxing ! History will remember him as the highest paid cherry picker of all time who refused to fight his biggest rival when it mattered!

    Floyd might not have fought everyone, but he still has a good resume. He has wins over Hatton, G. Hernandez, Corrales, Canelo, Judah, Guerrero, Cotto, Mosley, De La Hoya, Maidana, Manfredy, and Marquez.

    well, pacquiao refused to get tested for steroids...so, really it was pacquiao who avoided floyd.

    He didn't refuse **** ,yet when all demands were met he then had to leave his promoter ..Honestly real boxing fans don't continue to defend these excuses ..But keep trying though it really helps his case :lol:

    i like the half-a88ed "yeah, he fought some good guys, but..." comments. fact is NOBODY IN RECENT BOXING HISTORY HAS THE RESUME MAYWEATHER HAS! Nobody in the past 50 years! only RJJ and Sweetpea whitaker even come close. and roy was known as superman...and sweetpea was the ultimate technician

    lol@ he didn't refuse ****...you know damn well pacman was juicing and he was dirty and that's why he refused the blood test. So, don't blame mayweather for the fact that your idol is a fraud.
