Hearn's would demolish Pac, but the reason the discuss always involves Mayweather is because his fan's insist he'd have some kind of chance despite the fact he doesn't. But if someone claimed Pac would beat Hearns my response wouldn't be a whole lot different.

Well I'll ask you the same question, Tell me which fights of Floyd's you've seen that would lead you to believe he'd beat Hearns.

Hearns is 6'1 and has an 80" reach who eventually fought as a cruiserweight. Floyd is 5'8" with a 72in reach, and Hearns has way more power than Floyd. You don't think any of that would make a difference?

Tell me what strategy Floyd would employ to overcome these disadvantages.

Umm brand new to combat sports ?
Power is the last thing to go and usually only goes when someone is ancient.

This past prime ssm almost knocked him down bs shows how many rookies are on here.
That shot on the top side of Floyd's head was the best shot ssm is and always was capable of throwing.

Chino in the first round landed a shot on the same exact spot and that was chino most powerful shot and he is a deadly puncher. . Get a clue guys.

Floyd has a great chin. And you clowns say a.marg hook many of those, non on that spot which is the worst place to get hit.. and recovery is more important and marg was unable to recover and fight back after a couple way less impactful shots.

you dont go 46-0 with glass jaw or glass body or no heart. if he was 20 something and 0 you could ask such a noob question. floyd became champ in 96 with robert garcia and fernando vargas and he still a camp in 2 weight classes at the same damn time.

at some point you gone have to just give credit were its due. i know its hard for some but you gone have it.

Actually not at all. I personally don't think it's even worth discussing unless people tell that Floyd would win, which is what I'm responding to. I think it's a borderline ridiculous fight to discuss because I don't think it would be competitive.

What's your point. Pac wouldn't hear the final bell in a fight against Hearns he really don't bring anything to the table to beat Hearns with. Now I'm not knocking either Floyd or Pac they're great, great fighters, but I'm in my 50's and I've watched a lot of fighters in my day, and the fact is Hearns is simply too talented, has too much power and more importantly too big for either of these guys.

That said I would rather be discussing how they would do against the Duran's or the Whitaker's of the sport, because at least then it would be worth having a conversation about.

Great post:happy Floyd is extremely good boxer, but he isn't God. If he lost few rounds in his prime to far lesser guys like Castillo (who is B level fighter and worse than Hearns in every aspect of boxing), Zab Judah, or past prime De La Hoya, he's no way in hell stands a chance against prime Hearns who is not only much bigger, but a far better fighter than these.

His defence is too good to judge his strong his chin is

It's certainly very good, but we won't know if it's granite cause he'll never walk onto a big one, he is too good

Even when he got rocked by Mosley his feet were planted well so he was able to absorb the shots quite well

Of course Floyd could win but the size difference is so great it's kind of silly talking about it.
I see you're trying to use triangle theories to back hearns.

Well there are far inferior fighters that hearns couldn't blast out or even beat so does that mean now hearns has no shot vs Floyd ?

Also you're claiming one of the all time greatest 135ers is B class, For real ?
He must be B class to you because Floyd beat him twice, and the first fight he won with one arm.

Hearns had a below average chin, defense and even worse stamina. Once he got tired, every fight that went past 6 rounds, He was a sitting duck. Waiting to be tko/ko'd. I Find it pathetic that you claim "all" Floyd fans only watch his fights.

What moron clumps a whole fan base together.
It's far more realistic and much more likely that all the Floyd bashers are nothing but hates who are completely ignorant to this great sport..

I might have quoted the wrong poster but whatever you're all the same anyways right

My bad, I was supposed to quote big dumb Ukrainian

Some hardcore Floyd fans are so delusional:patsch

Hearns is 5'' taller than Floyd, he has much longer reach.

Floyd is great boxer without any doubt, but that doesn't mean he'll beat far bigger great boxer.

Hearns beat Benitez and was winning vs prime Leonard, until he was stopped late.

Now, Leonard has better offence than Floyd, he's clearly harder puncher, and is simply bigger and more athletic. And no, I'm not a Floyd hater by any means.

Saying Mayweather has no chance in winning against Hearns is not stupid ,

    its the truth .

    Hearns too overwhelming/powerful .

Nope , Floyds chin is not great .

    Its average .

You cant say he has a great Chin just because Maidana could not knock him out , Going by that Logic you can say Khan has an even greater chin than Floyd , because he took way more thudding powerpunches from an even YOUNGER Maidana .

Theres nothing wrong with having an average chin and that's what Floyd has .

Exactly my point , Its not even close to being debatable to discuss who would win between them 2 .
