if u know anything about boxing history....it always happens in waves. the klitschko era will be remembered as one of the weakest in history.

as for the current crop coming up...there does seem to be a resurgeance in the heavyweight division.

boxing never lost fans to mma. stop repeating that lie. boxing at this moment is the biggest it has ever been in the history of the sport. it isn't in the mainstream the way it used to be. we can thank ppv for that.

The divisions not getting any better. There are a just a lot of new names that have not lost to Wlad yet.Wlad will clean it up and start another yet another era.The problem with the division has always been the cowardly contenders ducking each other, looking for 1 payday with the champ.Guys like Povetkin and Chagaev would be hall of famers if they fought more.

Wilder is a flatfooted , glass jawed can crusher, how deluded you have to be to think that he is or ever will be on wlads level.

Ortiz did look good the other night. it's nice to have a heavy that comes in shape AND has some genuine Boxing ability. i'll be keeping an eye out for this guy.

what you said about Wilder and Stiverne though is one of the most laughable comments to be found around here. both of them will be leaving us pretty soon due to being quite ****. the only substance between the pair of them, is two wins over a decent fat man in Arreola. and that's all Stiverne's work.

to be fair, this is all a bit fantasy you're writing. Wlad has had a couple of good fights to watch in his career, but most of them are boring as hell.

Vitali was't in exciting fights a lot of the time either. watchable fights, yeah. but i wouldn't call them exciting as such.

the Holmes and Tyson eras? Tyson was looked on as the only hope back then. him being explosive and wiping everyone out was what kept people watching. without Tyson, the era would have fallen hard.

you should do some research for the Holmes era. it wasn't a great time for the Heavyweights in the slightest.
