I think this fight does 800k max. And unlike Floyd's other undercards, this one is pretty weak.

    I'm buying that one.

It's worth the money. Pacquaio is a living legend, and Lomachenko in on the undercard.

Absolutely. Should be a Great War. Now Algeria-PAC will be a waste.

I'm a bit alarmed that is costs this much. What exactly do you think happened during market research that caused these folks to decide to up the price once again? I remember only a few years ago I paid $55 for mayweather-DLH...

This is $23 more. That is crazy!

Let's keep in mind that the guys working for Top Rank/Golden Boy/Sho/HBO know their stuff and price PPV based on FACTS. They priced it so that they believe it will make them the most possible money... So even though lowering the price would definitely get more viewers, they didn't do that because it wouldn't give them enough viewers to make the bigger profit.

My guess is they have determined that their is a certain demographic that will pay for boxing events at even really high prices... There are people that will order PPV based on price/names on it. And there are people that will ALWAYS order PPV. This PPV is obviously going for the demographic that ALWAYS buys PPV because the casuals aren't buying into this one. (Casuals are the one in the balance, if they can't be persuaded to get this at all they need to charge more from the loyal fanbase)

Therefore I project that the numbers of this PPV will be absolutely abysmal. I have to say this fight is the one I'm least excited for of Floyd's. I was excited for Canelo/Guererro. And a bit interested in Maidana, but Maidana II gives me absoutely no interest. This will be Floyd's lowest selling PPV since Pre-DLH days.
