My view is that Hatton would break Marsh down over the long haul. Would n't bet my shirt on it,though.

    Promoted by Frank ******?

Marsh was a fine boxer, and very gutsy as well, but he couldn't punch. He could out-box Hatton, but I think he would be ground down in the end. Either could win on cuts.

I'd take marsh over 12 to box behind his jab and build a slight lead over the first 6 and although he looked a little weak marsh was bloody tough and his work rate was very good . I'd also say cuts may well play a part but they could both cut pretty bad so that's pretty even but if I had to say which had the thinner skin it would be hatton .

    Marsh 7
    Hatton 5

Marsh somehow had even thinner skin than Hatton. Also Ricky's wins resume was more impressive.

I think Hatton would slowly break Marsh with a body attack, although at first Marsh's cuter skills would cause Ricky problems. Providing Marsh's skin holds up this would probably go distance, he just lacked the ammo to shoot Hatton down.

Hatton was simply a better fighter than Marsh.
