He looked better than usual to me and he never looks that refined, he never will. He will bring the heat though, don't worry about that.

People once again looking for something that isn't there. Maidana looked fine and didn't look weak or dry.

Some fighters just don't look as refined or as cut as others. Joe Calzaghe never did but conditioning and work rate was always exceptional.

Maidana does tend to look very tired in some fights though. I wonder if Ariza not being around anymore will have an effect on his conditioning. Ariza does seem to have his fighters in top condition, whatever you think of him. They say Maidana is in better condition now, but they always say that. I hope he is, tiredness is not an option if you wan't any chance of giving Mayweather a good fight.

Sometimes people just read too much into weigh ins.

You thought he looked bad at the weigh-in, wait until fight night. Everyone thinks he has a real shot at this one, but I don't see how. He better be careful or he won't see the 12th round.

You guys do realize that he was fatter at the first weigh-in right?

Fat, C-class fighters give floyd alll he can handle and force rematches. Sad.

His weight was more solid the first time, he cut weight the right way then............Now he looks drained, skinny, flabby, with love handles in the same instance

He looked no different than he did last time...and you would have known that if you checked the videos and photos out there on the net So what is your point...or did you just want to see yourself blabber in print?

    Lol,

I'm pretty sure there were threads on this exact topic in Maidana's first fight with Floyd....

I agree with the majority of the posters... physically, Maidana looks pretty similar to last time out. Not particularly cut, a little something around the hips... Evidently it's genetics.

He's getting a second bite of the apple... I'm sure he is hyped.

I hope it's a great, competitive fight with a clear winner at the end.

    Preferably by K.O

I suspect Maidana is cashing out. The only intrigue in this fight is the faint possibility of a Maidana upset, which isn't happening.
