Almost pitched a shut out this time against maidana on my card, made him look like the B level brawler he is. Continued to fight after having his fingers nearly bitten off. Was snapping maidana's head back all night with counter rights. Good performance, easy work from mayweather. Was worth it IMO. People are gonna complain no matter what.
Well said Forza If Mayweather had gotten the knockout, they would have pinned it all on Arizas' shakes (Even though he never drank them). He can't win, no matter what he does. All he has to do is keep winning. Haters will continue to hate until the ends of time. :hi:

It was a very good performance from floyd, he was very sharp and on point tonight with mostly everything. The thing is maidaina is exactly that, a b level brawler, so the fight itself was pointless, because floyd is a class above, so it was a mismatch. The only thing that made the that gap in class edge nearer, is maidainas, heart and determination but that isn't enough to make up for the lack in overall quality especially at elite level.
I thought the first 10 rounds was brilliant, people talking down on the fight are just mad Floyd never got caught, stunned, or knocked down. They wanted to see him get hurt and it didn't happen.
What people criticizing this performance seem to forget is Maidana's style will make almost anyone look bad/sluggish in the ring. I thought FLoyd fought an almost perfect fight. He got caught with a few shots here and there but for the most part he had Maidana missing all night (Marcos landed around 21-22% total shots.) I gave Floyd 10 rounds. He fought the exact gameplan I thought he'd use in their first fight. He kept it in the center of the ring for the most part and was able to get his shots off first which was also instrumental.
He looked a lot older this fight. But he still won convincingly. Time to give that little Filipino a call and cash out his chips
Not to mention by round 6 it looked like maidana had given up after realizing he had no chance. Lack of heart and determination showed by maidana.
