Yeah well done to him for boring us all to tears for an hour. And well done to him for acting like a wimp when someone kisses his hand. And a further well done to him for acting like an even bigger wimp by failing to call out pacman. "i want to give the boxing fans what they want to see" hahaha yeah right u chicken.
I thought FLoyd won 9-10 rounds in this one. That 1 judge who called it 115-113 for FLoyd is just another outrageous scorecard, especially when you factor in the 1 point deduction against Maidana. I'm reading some of these threads being posted now and it's honestly ridiculous how much hate this man gets. Last fight he stayed on the ropes for about half of it and people said his legs were shot. This time he dances around the ring, avoids getting pinned on the ropes and was almost alway the one initiating the punching. And now they refer to him as an over the hill runner. Pretty good performance from an over the hill ducker I guess?
You know Floyd can't win with these guys. 37 years old at the top of a young man's sport. Maidana was never the guy to defeat Mayweather. Be mad at yourselves for believing that ish.
That was not a performance to be proud of... Painful to watch and looked like a total bag job as well...
A couple of times it looked to me lie floyd was setting maidana up for the KO. then maidana would bite him or foul him to buy more time. maidana proved he has some character issues.
I never believed it... I was the one who brought up the delusion that people had for believing maidana did so good in the first fight which I had 9 rounds to 3 for floyd. I've been the only one on these boards telling people the first fight wasn't even close....but people kept insisting it was a close, competitive fight, which tells you that ESB is fulla floyd haters, people with their own agenda and people who are too easily influenced. Well, this proves that maidana isn't even in floyd's league. maidana had an awkward style that won him a couple of rounds, but in the end, floyd showed the huge gap between him and the rest of the field.
Floyd made it look easy tonight. Just shows what kind of skills he has compared to everyone else. And it shows that he chose to stand toe-to-toe last fight. People won't want to admit it, but it is hard to win 7 out of 12 rounds against Floyd if he so chooses to box and implement a game plan that will be to his advantage. Bottom line: who in this era can really win 7 rounds against him? Or knock him out? Think about it...
Real boxing fans will recognize greatness...not biased or anything of the sort. It's difficult to get through to some folks, though. It just goes to show Floyd was truthful in his post-fight analysis last fight. Who's really going to argue that now....oh, wait......
I think chino was probably the best chance floyd haters had of seeing him lose. to begin with, chino has been on the big stage a few times, so he's experienced at the world-class level unlike thurman. he's got a good chin and a very awkward style unlike khan. He's a big puncher with an aggressive style too, so if floyd had really been slipping, it was a golden opportunity. The fact that chino failed so miserably or, rather that floyd made him look like an amateur way out of his league tells me that nobody else is gonna come close. They say khan is fast, but khan gets tired down the stretch, makes a lotta mistakes and has a soft chin. thurman is a great young talent, but how is he gonna recover from his shoulder injury?...and he doesn't have a lotta experience at the top level. i think mayweather makes it to 49-0 without much trouble then hopefully retires having beat marciano's record. except marciano's record was built up against a lotta bums and a few old guys at the top who mostly didn't even belong in the same weight class as him, while floyd is beating mostly young champs, 10-15 years younger, in their prime who are bigger than him by 10, 20, 30 lbs.
I really hope Floyd pursues 50-0. It would be great for him and for boxing. Let the haters hate. If they don't like it, step in the ring and beat him. I'm objective when it comes to this but, damn, it's like people only see what they want to...no surprise there but give the man credit. He's 47-0 for a reason. If I could do it, you better believe I'd be fighting in MGM every 6 months. That's the way of the world, I guess...F**k 'em...
are you joking ?? LMAO The majority of people on here said the first fight wasn't close hence the reason they had little interest in a rematch Are you really trying to brag about calling a result which was already a formality ?? Lol Neither fight should have happened cause maidana never had a hope in hell of winning, he doesn't even have KO power to have a punchers chance Tonight's fight was so dull because it was never going to be close
