I'll leave that stat there just to sink in.

Think it's pretty clear Joshua will shatter Wilder's china chin whenever he chooses to give Wilder a pay day he doesn't deserve.

No doubt had it easier, but on terms of levels, Wilder is ahead after 30+ or so fights. The thing with Joshua he knows where his at, especially after his sparring with the champ. He WILL be a future champ if he pulls through his initiation period of different styles and had his beard tested. Wilder is an unknown quantity with regards to his beard and has been matched awfully by his team as he would not of achieved his true potential.

Don't see these two ever fighting each other. Wilder will get knocked out way before Joshua would have stepped up.

Joshua would stop Wilder with ease now, based on Wilder having a worse chin than Amir Khan. Would have loved to see Fury KO him, that would be hilarious and I would back him to do it in under 5 rounds. Wilder may go down as the biggest hype job ever when he is exposed.

    :conf

Wilder has a glass chin though, Joshua doesn't.

Why do you think Wilder should have to fight against people who will butcher him :-(

Someone on twitter did one of these for Naoya Inoue and his opponents are something like 124-26-5 or something equally as ridiculous

Are we including 47 year old Matt Skelton's 28 wins and taking into account he hadn't fought for over a year before fighting Joshua? If so, yep, I'm convinced Joshua is the real deal.

It's not unique though, even in recent time. If you look how Povetkin started his career, it was also a super impressive list of opponents, but then it stalled following his victory against Eddie Chambers, he fought journeymen for 3 years and really seemed to regress as a fighter, before scraping past Chagaev and Huck.

Pulev is another one with a pretty impressive start, although he has kept his momentum going. Lets hope Joshua's career goes more the way of Pulev than Povetkin.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious now. If a fighter's management has confidence in their ability to complete, they follow a course like Joshua has.

If they don't, and particularly if they know their fighter doesn't take a good shot, they feed them stiff after stiff like they have to Wilder.

Wilder is a fraud, and pretty much everyone knows it now.

I tend not to want to bash Wilder. He's making a living and he's got managers that have allowed him to do that and make name without that much risk. But that is some seriously stark contrast. That's what happens when your people believe you're the real deal.
