Hey I definitely respect your opinion, but I don't think he'd have a shot with Whitaker or Chavez. Chavez could take Pacman's best shots and keep coming forward. He also had enough power to knock Pacman out. I also think his elite bodypunching would be evident from the early rounds on and he'd either break pacman down in the 10th or 11th or win a competitive UD.

Whitaker would box circles around him. He's actually just as quick and his handspeed is right up there as well. Top 3 defensive fighter ever, I just don't think Pacman will know how to deal with an ATG technical master like Pea.

I agree with you leonard had troubles with faster guys. I just think that Manny's defense has too many holes in it and a guy like Leonard would make him pay. Leonard's handspeed and his combination punching at 147 is probably the most elite out of any fighter I can think of in the history of the sport. I rate him as the 2nd best WW ever and a top 10 P4P fighter of all time. He's a naturally MUCH larger man than pacman so IMO that's not a fair fight at all.

I can't agree with you on Duran. I just can't. That's a good and credible point you made about his come forward style at the time he campaigned at WW. I just don't think Pacman can take Duran's shots. Even at 147 where Duran was a bit removed from his prime, IMO, he's still the greater fighter of the 2. Better technical ability, better defense, more powerful fighter (and that's saying something since 09 Pacman was a beast.) An ATG matchup that would be so entertaining but I couldn't pick Pacman against Hands of stone.

Where are those guys in 2009? :-((

JMM can't even hurt Mayweather during their fight.. Mosley showed the world how Mayweather looked when he's vulnerable.. JMM won't compete in that league, not during those time..

Henry Armstrong is a small welterweight, probably smaller than Pacquiao on fight night.. The type of fighter he could out-box, or outpunch..

Dela Hoya can't even beat Mosley..

Mosley can't even beat Cotto.. Ross and Pryor? Come on! Don't get fooled by the KO6 in Pacquiao-Marquez IV.. We are talking about the '09.. :good

Pac is lucky those two weren't around in 2009. He would have nightmares. They still beat his ass easily.

If JMM fought on a level field with Pacroid in all his fights, Pacroid never beats him. Some argue JMM is 3-1 and he fought clean in 3 of those fights. He wised up in the fourth to prove he is better than any version of Pacquiao. JMM was almost 40!

I'm just curious, are you saying a prime Hank Armstrong wouldn't beat a 2009 version of Manny?

Also a prime 147 DLH or a PRIME Mosley would give PAcman fits. I'm not saying they would beat him, but Pacman isn't walking through those guys at all.

I forgot about Pryor. Wow. At 140 lbs if they met- a weight class Im sure Manny could've made in 2009, I don't know who'd win that fight. Pryor was a crazy person in the ring, I've never seen a swarming style like the one Aaron had. He honestly had bad intentions when he fought. His stamina level also was absolutely incredible given his style of offense. That would be one HELLUVA fight.

Prime DLH v Prime Pac. EASY win for DLH. Mosley and Pac are at the same level of PED use. Don't know who wins there. It would come down to the ml dosage.

My basis is, Whitaker is feather-fisted.. Pacquiao walk through Cotto's power shot to land his own.. Cotto can't put him down, Pacquiao was just standing right in front with his arms up taking all of it though he got his face busted.. It could be Hatton-Malignaggi all over again..

Chavez could make it difficult for Pacquiao, but his style is very similar to Ricky Hatton.. I actually favor Hatton to beat Dela Hoya in which Chavez failed twice.. He also failed against Tszyu in which Hatton succeed.. At some some point of his career, he was out-boxed, and out-punched.. At 135 up, Pacquiao's only defeat was against Marquez and we know the whole story..

The only guys I can't argue is Hearns and RObinson, and they could end the fight quickly..

Leonard has made the impression he did it when it mattered but he did not pull it out on the second Hearns fight, and the Hagler fight in which he lost both..

One name you forgot? Benitez.. Next to Hearns and RObinson.. :deal

Just about every atg true welter. Manny always loses fantasy fights because he just doesn't measure up.

You're asking. That's my honest answer. I don't see every single one of them beating Pacquiao 10/10 times, but I honestly think any of them COULD beat him, and I'm probably forgetting a few. Of course Pacquiao is great, but there's many welters I'd assuredly favor against him.

Old schoolers didn't drain like they do now. NO catchweight, NO chance for Manny.
