My Thoughts on fight last night from boxing/mayweather fan POV

    First off, the first thing i was thinking WTF is maidana doing thinking he can outbox Mayweather?? That was the dumbest stragtey ever, same thing dummy Canelo did, nobody will beat Mayweather like that. U get a rematch and thats what u come up with Garcia?? :patsch

    2- Once u saw Mayweather moving u knew thats how hes gonna fight the whole night.=, and why not? obviously the adjustment was to not lay on the ropes, and hold sometimes on the inside, easy work.

    3- Bayless could've let them work more on the inside, broke up to quick, but we all kinda of knew it might be like that

    4- Maidana biting, WTH is he doing? man thats hella dirty. and for ppl that say mayweather is a puss or theres no way he can feel that then try it at home and see what happens! Otherwise STFU!

    5- I love Mayweather and been a fan before all these fake A$$ fans came about but Dude can throw a little bit more. He doesnt go for KO's anymore because he works on his defense and doesnt want to get caught, hence why he hasnt lost and is the highest paid Athlete in the world. He can still box and do what he do but he knew he was stinking up the show for some of that fight and didnt care. maidana was open for massive counters and he didnt swing. SO I love my boy but we all know as boxing fans we want him to throw more.

    and thats it! Hopefully Pacquiao or Cotto next, or both next year. all I really want to see :bbb:bbb

    DO you hate Floyd so much u go and follow these threads everywhere? geez get a life.

    and I made the thread because everybody thinks Floyd fans think hes god and this and that, sorry im a realstic fan. Dude should throw alot more, plain and simple.

    as for grow a piar. hes had 47 fights and gave rematches to the 2 closest fights hes had his whole career, i think he grew some a long time ago

    Dude your a clown. and if he was to fight Khan u would say Khan doesnt have a chin and Maidana is scared to rematch maidana because he lost the first fight.

    They know me as a *****/juantard on here, and my honest opinion is that floyd looked kind of gassed at times. Maidana was dumb for trying to box but what other option did he have? Floyd was on a hugging fest and the ref was there to protect floyd.

    The biting to me clearly looked as if mayweather was just trying to get chino dq, floyd looked nervous at times and I think Floyd wanted a way out.

    I still think Floyd clearly won but part had to do is that the ref helped out. I think Floyd has definitely lost a step and maybe now pac and floyd are both on the same level.

    Good points OP. But, while I do think the biting was dirty (lol...really dirty), it was due to frustration because Floyd was initiating clinches and headlocks for much of the night. And Bayless was not giving warnings or letting them fight out of it when there was a hand free. So, Maidana took the law into his own hands, so to speak. It has no place in a boxing ring, though.

    I do think Floyd fought the right fight to make it easier than the first fight...much easier. And he did say he could do that if he wanted to (a lot of people just believed Maidana had his number or he was too old, etc). It should be clearer that he can choose to stay in the pocket, and engage, for a more exciting affair or he can move and/or clinch to make it an easier win.

    I do agree that he should throw more. There were times he had Maidana hurt or stunned and simply backed off. A younger fighter with more to prove (or even a younger version of himself) would have gone in for the kill.

    Floyd did look a little gassed at times but thats because he was moving so much. reason why he layed on the ropes in the first fight to not gas to much.

    Floyd looks like a lost a little step but not to much. Nobody still beats him
