well considering he's never weighed more than 150lbs for a fight and weighed 148 for the first fight, I'll say he weighed somewhere around there
How dumb can you NEW boxing fans be ?! If a fighter walks around at 150 makes weight 2 months before the fight, then makes weight on fight night. how in the hell does he then put on 15lb a day after weigh ins ?!?! Its focking impossible!!!!
they just want to discredit Floyd anyway they can by thinking he's some huge fighter. They thought he weighed around 160 pounds for the Marquez and Mosley fights and then when he fought Ortiz, he weighed 150 on fightnight. It shut most of them up
I'm not saying it's a requirement, but Floyd used same day weight rehydration to require Canelo get down to a catch weight of 152. He created a rule (for Canelo) due to concern about Canelo being too big, even though he was making the weight class limit, but then a year later Floyd himself chooses not to weigh-in the day of the fight. So he uses "money" to make up new rules when the normal rules don't benefit him, but then turns around and doesn't even follow the normal procedure of weighing in when he rehydrates a lot.
no the **** he didn't. You're making that up. No opponent of Mayweather ever had to weigh in a certain amount the day of the fight.
He didn't demand a same day weight rehydration limit, we know that. That wouldn't have worked though because it wasn't a rule. But he used the idea that Canelo rehydrates too much as a bargaining chip to create a catch weight situation to get the 154 lb champ (Canelo) to come in at 152 lbs. The point I am making is very easy to understand. Floyd is a master at using his money and his promotional situation to gain advantages in the ring. The irony is that for this fight he didn't weigh in the night of the fight despite how much he complained about how much other fighters rehydrate too much. (Canelo) I personally think that too much emphasis has been put on same day weights, and I don't think it should be a requirement, but it's curious that Floyd didn't weigh-in last night when you look at how Floyd demanded Canelo come down to 152.
so you're implying that Mayweather gained like 15 pounds after the weighin even though when he fought just 4 months ago, he weighed 148 pounds?
No. I am simply asking what members here think he weighed, that is the point of the poll. Take a look at that poll, that's pretty interesting isn't it? There is such a wide variety of guesses as to what Floyd actually weighed, but the average so far is way more than 148. Floyd appeared bigger this time around, he appeared more muscular. I thinks we are all trying to understand why Floyd didn't weigh-in on fight night.
whatever, those people are ******ed. Floyd weighed 150 pounds 30 days before the fight. He weighed 148 vs Maidana just 4 months ago. Weighed 150 vs Canelo, and weighed 150 vs Ortiz. There's no reason to believe his weight significantly changed.
And you're a.......hmmm.....daft:yep or blind or.... He as much larger this time around. Only a ***** would disagree:deal
he looked like he always does, he comes in ripped like a mother ****er and weighs in at 146.5 and on fight night he still maintained alot of that so unless he had a height growth spurt overnight its hard to argue anything over the low 150's (i voted 150)
