If he had any creativity he would have told you to FIST him, but that's really giving him credit.

LOL.. Sorry. My response to him was out of disgust for his behavior. There seems to be no end to what some of these people will say or do.

Its a interesting statement by Larry but getting hit hard in sparring isn't always the same as in a bout. Your working on things and may be more open, Ellis dropped Ali several times in workouts over the years also but the right hands he landed in their bout had no such affect. By comparison Patterson's saying Ingo hit harder then Sonny means much more as both put the lights out on him for real.

I don't get it? why would Holmes lie? what would he gain??

Frazier hit like hell with the left hook, and was the same size as Tyson, if Holmes says Joe hit harder i believe it...

Frazier was not the same size as Tyson, tyson was 10 or more lbs. hevaier at a leamer body weight, Tyson had somewhat more muscle, especially a significantly bigger upper body.

though that is not enough to say he must have hit harder. Yet by bothe appearances & effect of individual shots Tyson hit harder. Holmes is much better disposed to Frazier than Tyson, he was dissing Tyson gratuitously before the fight about how he would end up, mean whether he was somewhat correct or not.

Also it is not necessarily a lie. Possibly, but also folks delude or convince themselves of false things all the time, as all kinds of studies show. Mostly to protect our ego & precomceptions.

Holmes talks out of his ass, Tyson sparked him - actually thinking about it, he is telling the truth - I bet Holmes never felt a thing Zzzzzzzzzz

Sugar Ray Leonard once said Marcus Geraldo hit him harder than Duran, Hearns or Hagler did.

    Boxers say strange things sometimes.

Tyson hit him that hard he's probably forgotten fighting him. The power that man generated when throwing a punch was incredible.
