Thurman likes to jump onto people with his hooks like he did vs paulie. There's a change he gets hit by a huge leaning right hand and goes down / get hurt. Floyd still has enought left in the tank to outbox him I think otherwise.
It all depends on whether or not Floyd can take his punch. I actually think this would be the toughest fight Floyd could take for the least reward. I think Floyd would be better off fighting Khan first which is equally as tough but which would make much more money.
Idk, Khan's style isn't as appealing to casuals anymore, in his last fight he held down Collazo's head like there was no tommorow, the crowd wasn't as reactive as back when he was considered a top light-WW and exciting fighter ... Thurman's style is still made up for floyd I feel, he swings wide while coming foward at the same time when facing someone who tries to boxe him.
He'd do better against Thurman than people think. With Floyd's age setting in now it'd be a good fight.
i dont think thurman is that bad a style for mayweather, id probably favour mayweather a bit but thurrman with the right gameplan could do damage
My feelings also. I would like to see Thurman in with someone like Paulie or Alexander before giving him a chance against Mayweather.
