Carl brings no TV attraction at all.

That is what shapes a purse.

yes frampton is a world champion and is well quigg is the guy who won his belt by sending away 50 crisp packets so he could fight a useless bum for a mickey mouse belt

and even at he couldnt beat him

bottom line is frampton gets the bigger split, just like kiko more than likely got more money when he faught frampton the second time

Loving all the Irish on here trying to run down a good fighter like Quigg, acting like he's a bum.

Having said that for a country who prides itself on a 'fighting Irish' moniker the actual number of world level fighters has been diabolical.

well most irish fighters don't go pro, and they have 1 now

    england - 53 million - 2 world champions - 1 champion per 26.5 million

    ireland - 6.3 million - 1 world champion - 1 champion per 6.3 million

doesnt look that bad now does it?:yep

and ireland does better than the whole of britian in amatuer boxing now

No I like Frampton and Quigg, I just think people are overrating Framptons record and what he's done so far whilst going way overboard about slating Quigg.

Both are good fighters, let's get it on and may the best fighter win.

well framptons beat better fighters and holds a real belt

quigg couldnt even beat a bum to win his mickey mouse title and has faced bums since in saying that it is being hard on quigg but when you still have guys on her calling is a 50-50 fight you are going to polarise opinion

I agree with Odins beard - I like both fighters but think Carl is being slightly overrated and Scott slightly underrated - I think this is a true 50/50 fight and that is why we won't see it for a while.

To be fair Frampton has only fought 3 actual world level opponents so far. Kiko x2, Cazares and Molitor.

Molitor was way past his prime, Cazares was a career super flyweight and Kiko whilst on a good run as champion is one of the most beatable world champions out there.

All the rest are domestic level.
