I really don't get what all the fuss is about. If you're asked to ref a rematch where one of the fighters fouled like a motherf*cker in the first fight and has a history of being a very dirty fighter, of course you're going to be strict in the rematch.

Before Bayless was announced as being ref Floyd was bitching & :| that he was going to have a ref that stopped Maidana "Roughing him up & bullying him" Those are his exact words not mine. He got his ref alright in the BLATANTLY CORRUPT Kenny Bayless.
You were right in the fact Bayless should be strict in the rematch Strict but impartial. Fair to both fighter. He wasn't he was far from that. He jumped on Maidana every chance he got yet let Floyd get away with holding & gripping Maidana every time he managed to catch him. When Bayless took the point from Maidana for the elbow to the face that just rubbed salt into the already sore wound.
Don't forget the "alleged Biting" incident Floyd :|:| about. Bayless came over to Robert Garcia & said' " I didn't see anything of what happened so I couldn't do anything about it but if Maidana does it again I'm DQ ing him" DQ him fopr what ?? He admitted he hadn't seen anything :patsch:patsch Bayless was a disgrace & like CJ Ross & the clown that scored Maidana 1 117-111 to Floyd should be FIRED!!!!!!!!

AS much as Floyd whined about Weeks, you know DAMN well, Bayless wasn't gonna' let that be said about HIM. He wasn't gonna' allow MM to do ANY infighting. Maidana' was rougher in the first fight. Floyd was holding MM's right hand EVERY time they were in close and even thought Marco's left hand was free, Bayless wouldn't let him fight. He allowed Floyd to (several times) put his full body weight on Maidana's shoulders and back (ala Ali) and didn't say ****. In fact when Floyd claimed that fake bite ****, he was all on Maidana's back, THEN, rubbing his glove in Marcos' face and eyes. Then Bayless screamed at Marcos, "I don't know what you did, but you better cut it out" As for that 'bite' ****. I've been a trainer for years and I know DAMN well, that if you have a mouthpiece, you aren't biting through a well padded glove (Floyd's demand), a foot of tape and gauze and about three ounces of fkn' xylocain. Floyd cried, my hand was numb, DUH, isn't that what xylocain does?

I wanted he same in this fight as I do in all fights That the best man wins as he should do. In this fight Maidana wasn't given a chance. First the gloves then the blatant referee performance. Then Floyd claiming he was bitten :patsch:patsch He wasn't bitten his hand was probably numb from the illegal xylocaine he uses
For me Maidana did win the first fight same as Castillo beat Floyd first time The Punks 0 is bogus

Cinderella Man, "being strict is one thing", not letting a guy fight on the inside when his hand is free is TOTALLY different. If a guy lands a low blow, according to YOU, the ref shouldn't allow him to throw ANY more body shots.
