James Kirkland will fight Gabe Rosado as the televised undercard fight to the Bernard Hopkins vs Sergey Kovalev unfication fight.

Two great fights, one a guaranteed barnburner and the other the most highly anticipated fight of the year.

The November 8th card is far better value for money then either the recent Mayweather PPV and the upcoming Pac PPV and best of all it's FREE if you're a HBO subscriber.

As for who wins between Kirkland and Rosado, it's quite clearly going to end in KO either way so that's a given but i think Rosado has a real chance to pull off the upset especially with his BKB performance knocking out Vera.

I'm going for Rosado to win by 8th rd KO.

I would say Rosado by late KO, but I think Kirkland will tear open his scar tissue and get a cut stoppage.

So is Rosado going to split his time between real boxing and BKB?

    Definately.

Showtime have gone to **** since it became the Al Haymon cherry pick channel.

HBO are giving us the fights that count this year, we've already had Crawford vs Gamboa and Cotto vs Martinez and we'll soon be getting Donaire vs Walters, Hopkins vs Kovalev, Rosado vs Kirkland, Crawford vs Beltran and a whole lot more.

I think he'll just keep his options open and go for which ever one pays him the best.

If he beats Kirkland he'll probably stick to boxing and see if it leads to a title shot, if he loses i'm sure he'll go back to BKB and defend his World title in that organisation.

Actually, if Kirkland loses this fight he might try BKB himself as it'd probably fit him better.

Yeah. I was gonna say when I first saw their names together my first assumption was that it was Rosado's first BKB defense.

This matchup would actually be ideal for that format.

Not sure who wins, Rosado had his scar tissue surgically repaired so he has a legit shot. Kirkland always has a chance.

Shaping up to be the best card of the year.

If his face holds up, I'm picking Rosado to win.
