NO where, kicked off the date unless he fights Pacquiao. Golden Boy runs this **** and Cotto-Canelo is 1 to 1.5 buys if u ask me. Canelo is a superstar and Cotto got all my boricuas plus alot more fans after s****ng Martinez.

Mayweather will be moved off the date

Mexican Independence Day ! For the most fierce and educated fight fans in the world ! And, I'm not Mexican.... But the Mexican fights on every level are by far the greatest events and the most fun to watch...

No. Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a celebration held on May 5. It is celebrated in the United States[1] and in Mexico, primarily in the state of Puebla,[note 1][2][3][4] where the holiday is called El Día de la Batalla de Puebla (English: The Day of the Battle of Puebla).[5][6][7]
The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín.[3][8] In the United States, Cinco de Mayo is generally mistaken to be Mexico's Independence Day—the most important national holiday in Mexico—which is celebrated on September 16.[3][

Would not surprise me much. Canelo vs. Cotto will do better PPV numbers than anyone Floyd could fight aside from Pac.

    That'd be awesome.

I never got why a BLACK AMERICAN needed that date so bad!? it should totally be an all Mexican rivalry or a Mexico/Puerto Rico rivalry.
