Over Frampton? I'm hearing some people say this, but I'd like the forums thoughts on the subject...

Why? Scott doesn't draw big numbers, hasn't beaten a champion of note and really doesn't have much in his favour..

In terms of crowd pull etc frampton tops it based on that 60/40 or 70/30

But quigg has sky tv so makes it more an even playing field so should be a 50/50 split imo

I have the solution to mr. Fifty percent Quigg:

    He SHOULD get 50%!

    50% of what Carl gets!

66:33 split is the answer. Problem solved!

It's clearly a 50/50 fight. If Frampton had more TV exposure, he'd deserve the majority share.

Quigg has SKY? How many people are tuning in JUST to see Scott Quigg fight?

    Irrelevant.

Bigger numbers = bigger advertising revenue = bigger everything.

    It's basic economics.

Frampton should be the clear favorite (at least 65/35 imo) and should also get the bigger cut for being an actual champion now.

He doesn't. Yes he has Sky, but he has no profile on Sky. Nobody tunes into watch him. His star appeal is flat zero. Frampton is by far the greater commodity in that sense.

If Frampton is so popular remind me why he had to fight on an obscure PPV channel that gets feck all viewers.

    Needs to be 50 / 50

If it's in Belfast Quigg deserves 50% for travelling to 'The Jackals Den' regardless of the fans he takes over.

If it's in Manchester then he deserves 50% as the majority will be there to watch 'the unification fight' i.e both fighters.

The fight draws massive numbers, and both are 'champions' both are putting a belt on the line & in truth, is Frampton's fan base over here particularly great? Quigg DOES have a strong following in NW as do all Gallagher fighters, they lend support from each other due to under card, chief support etc!

    50 - 50 defo way forward!

    No.

Carl is a legit world champ - Scott isn't.

Carl can pack out arenas - Scott can't.

Carl has beaten the better opposition - Scott hasn't.

    65/35-70/30. Nothing else matters.
