If you put aside promotional differences, TV network differences, fighters ducking, fighters not willing to travel etc, etc. List a fight you feel each division needs the most. The only rule is you cannot use a fighter in two different divisions (for example if you list Ward v GGG at 168, you cannot have GGG v Cotto at 160)

Heavyweight: Tyson Fury vs Dentony Wilder
    .
Both circus acts who would make a big name opponent for Wlad and there is guaranteed to be glass all over the place.

Cruiserweight: Marco Huck v Yoan Pablo Hernandez
Lots of controversy about how Huck was over looked to be Ring champion, so much so they changed their championship policy. This will put that controversy to bed. They have the same trainer though making this one unlikely.

Light Heavyweight: Adonis Stevenson v. Sergey Kovalev/ Bernard Hopkins winner
Of all people in boxing I'd like to see in a crumbled heap, Stevenson ranks right up there and Kovalev is a man who guarantees it, and if Hopkins wins, then he can take Stevenson soul and make history as the only man to unify both belts in 2 weight classes

Super Middleweight: Andre Ward v Gennady Golovkin
If Andre Ward ever gets back in the ring and willing to leave Oakland, not taking into account anyone he's already beat GGG is the biggest threat out there even though he lurks 1 division below.

Middleweight: Saul Alvarez vs. Miguel Cotto
Two rabid fan bases and a huge Mexico v Puerto Rico fight.

Junior Middleweight: Erislandy Lara v James Kirkland
With Cotto and Alvarez moving north, Mayweather staying at 147 the division wide open. This would be a fight of best boxer v best brawler.

Welterweight: Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao
Still the biggest money making fight in boxing, may even shut a few people up and stop the constant ducking talk from fans.

Jr Welterweight: Danny Garcia vs. Adrien Broner
Garcia is the number 1 in the division and Broner is a big draw, there is also the enjoyment gained from seeing Broner knocked out.

Lightweight: Terrence Crawford v Raymundo Beltran
A bit of a crap division. This would establish a lineal champion and is already happening.

Jr Lightweight: Takashi Uchiyama vs. Mikey Garcia
Easily number 1 and 2 at the weight.

Featherweight: Vasyl Lomachenko v Guillermo Rigondeaux
Two ATG amateurs already accomplished a lot despite their short career's.

Jr Featherweight: Carl Frampton v Scott Quigg
    Big domestic showdown.

Bantamweight: Anselmo Moreno vs. Shinsuke Yamanaka
These two are 1 and 2 by a mile with the only argument being who is number 1 of them. Get it on a find out.

Jr Bantamweight: Omar Navarez vs Carlos Cudras
Should they both win their fights this week, a fight between the two will establish a lineal champ

Flyweight: Roman Gonzalez vs. Juan Franciso Estrada II
Rematch of their classic 2012 encounter, one weight up, both with growing reputations.

Jr Flyweight: Donnie Nietes vs. Nayoa Inoue
Fight between clear 1 and 2 in the division.

Strawweight: Francisco Rodriguez Jr vs. Hekkie Budler
Title unification bout, arguments on who should be number 1 between them.

Heavyweight: Wladimir Klitschko - Kubrat Pulev
The champion versus the number one contender. The world has been waiting for this fight since the Wlad - Povetkin bout basically. It's finally happening.

Cruiserweight: Marco Huck - Yoan Pablo Hernandez
Already explained. Pretty much to solve the Ring belt controversy.

Light Heavyweight: Adonis Stevenson - Sergey Kovalev/Bernard Hopkins
    Already well explained.

Super Middleweight: Andre Ward - Carl Froch II
Ever since Ward won the Super Six, he has been on the slide as far as his career progress is concerned. Froch, on the other hand, has been taking on the big names and eventually became the biggest name in division, despite not being the lineal champ. The rematch would either establish Ward back where he belongs, or Froch would finally conquer the division.

Middleweight: Gennady Golovkin - Miguel Cotto
Golovkin has just defeated the #2 guy in the division, and the only natural step forward would be the highly disputed, but still the lineal champ Miguel Cotto. Cotto, on the other hand, would have the opportunity to establish himself by defeating the widely recognized world's best middleweight in Golovkin. Of course, if Cotto decides to go back to 154, then the most natural MW fight to make would be Golovkin - Jacobs/Quillin winner, as it would be the champ versus the number one guy.

Light Middleweight: Canelo Alvarez - Erislandy Lara II
Assuming Canelo doesn't move up to 160, it would be right to rematch Lara, despite the high possibility of the fight failing to sell much PPVs or whatever. The outcome of the first fight was controversial, and those kind of fights require rematches. If Canelo moves up, then it should be Lara versus the next highest rated titleholder. Also, Mayweather should drop his belt if he has no plans to defend it on 154.

Welterweight: Floyd Mayweather - Manny Pacquiao
Two of the best welterweights in the world. For some reason or another, they have been failing to make this fight throughout the past few years. It won't be long until the new guys take over, so it's not like they have time on their side.

Featherweight: Nonito Donaire/Nicholas Walters - Vasyl Lomachenko
Very hot division right now, and I think that the mentioned tournament between the top guys is a great thing to make. Since Vetyeka defeated Chris John and then controversially lost to Donaire, there hasn't been a very clear number one guy in the division. It would have been right if Donaire rematched Vetyeka, but as far as the present situation is concerned, Donaire - Walters would produce an ideal opponent to Lomachenko in a fight for the featherweight supremacy. Plus guys like Gradovich, Gonzalez and even Mares could be added into the mix as well.

Super Bantamweight: Guillermo Rigondeaux - Leo Santa Cruz
Two of the biggest names in the division (also the champ versus arguably the number one challenger). Leo has been talking about his ambition to fight the champ a lot recently, so it's about time his management agrees on the terms with Rigo. And let's not pretend that Rigo isn't already small enough even at this weight. There is no reason to push for a move up, that's not reasonable. And as it's mentioned, Frampton - Quigg is a domestic fight, and neither of those guys have established themselves (to be honest, neither has Santa Cruz). Frampton/Quigg winner would make a legit #1 challenger to Rigondeaux, but the domestic bout between guys who are less recognized even than Santa Cruz is very far from being the main Super Bantam fight.

    Nearly all good shouts.

    Ill add as possibilities:

154 - Andrade vs Canelo. I think Andrade is a good fighter and is possibly the biggest test remaining for Canelo at 154.

140 - Garcia vs Herrera 2. I think Herrera was robbed first time, this should be for the 140lb title.

Heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko vs Stiverne/Wilder winner
An undisputed champion to be made needs to happen next year.

    Cruiserweight Huck vs Hernandez
    Already Explained

Light Heavyweight Kovalev or Bhop vs Stevenson
    Already explained

Super Middleweight Gennady Golovkin vs Carl Froch
I can't think of a funner fight in boxing today.

    Middleweight Canelo vs Cotto
    Already explained well

Light Middleweight Demitrius Andrade vs Erislandy Lara
If Canelo goes up to Middleweight this would establish the man at LMW.

    Welterweight Mayweather vs Pacquiao
    Already explained

    Light Welterweight
    Danny Garcia vs Matthysse II
First fight was close and it's still the top 2 at the weight.

Lightweight Terrance Crawford vs Mickey Bey
Unification two American fighters perfect undercard fight for a Floyd fight.

Super Featherweight Mikey Garcia vs Takashi Uchiyama
Top two in the division would clearly establish who the man is at 130

Featherweight Nonito Donaire vs Vasyl Lomochenko
Donaire is still one of the best p4p fighters in the world a win for Lomochenko would make a massive statement.

Super Bantamweight Carl Frampton vs Leo Santa Cruz
Rigondeaux isn't loosing to anyone this is the most competitive fight, two world champions in their primes and a guaranteed fun fight.

Bantamweight Tomoki Kameda vs Anselmo Moreno
Kameda appears to be a star in the making a win over Moreno would really establish him as a big fighter for the future.

Super Flyweight Omar Andres Narvaez vs Carlos Cuadras
    Already Explained

Flyweight Roman Gonzalez vs Juan Estrada II
Already explained well Gonzalez would put himself clearly in the p4p top 3 if he wins IMO.

    Naoya Inoue vs Donnie Nietes
    Already Explained

Minimumweight Francisco Rodriguez Jr vs Hekkie Budler
    Already Explained

  10. Lopetego

    Lopetego Guest

    Heavyweight: Wlad vs Fury/Wilder
I'd enjoy watching Wlad knocking out either of these guys. Fury talks a lot of crap and Wilder is one of the biggest frauds i've ever seen. Both are tomato cans that would get easily destroyed by the champion.

Cruiserweight: any beltholder vs any other beltholder

I just wanna see one of those paper champs go and try to unify their individual belts with someone else. at least try, dammit

Light Heavyweight: Adonis Stevenson v. Sergey Kovalev/ Bernard Hopkins winner
Definetly THE fight to make in that division

    Super Middleweight: Froch vs Dirrell
The winner would get one belt more, then he could go and challenge Abraham. The winner of that fight would finally remove Ward from the ¨division's kingpin¨ position. Although I think Ward would probably beat all of them, the real champ should be someone who's actually active

    Middleweight: GGG vs. Miguel Cotto
Just so GGG can finally take what he rightfully deserves and finally becomes oficially what he is unoficially: the undisputed MW kingpin. and so he can end the Cotto deception in the process

Junior Middleweight: Canelo v James Kirkland
Idk, just a fan friendly fight I've been wanting to watch for a while

Welterweight: Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao
No explanation needed. If this match doesn't happen, it'll be a perennial disgrace for the sport. I wish the so called TBE cared

Jr Welterweight: Mathysse vs. Adrien Broner
Potentially a great scrap while it lasts, watching Broner humbled again and probably knocked the **** out for the first time in his career would be a plus

Lightweight: Terrence Crawford v Raymundo Beltran
    yep.

Jr Lightweight: Takashi Uchiyama vs. Mikey Garcia
The hardest punchers in the division and no.1 and 2. We'll finally know if Mikey is packing glass like he seems to be

Featherweight: Vasyl Lomachenko v Guillermo Rigondeaux
The 2 greatest amateurs in history ducking it out in the pro ring? yes, please!
Wish Rigo had the balls to take the challenge

Jr Featherweight: Frampton v Santa Cruz
Winner should get Rigo immediately so we can get an undisputed lineal champion

Bantamweight: Anselmo Moreno vs. Shinsuke Yamanaka
Best fight to me made in the division atm. It'd decide who's the kingpin in the division

Jr Bantamweight: Omar Navarez vs Carlos Cuadras
    See above

Flyweight: Roman Gonzalez vs. Juan Franciso Estrada II
    See above+2

    Jr Flyweight: -------
I dont care about this division. No great talents atm and everything too midget for my taste

    Strawweight: -------

    see above.

Disagree with GGG vs Ward as I think both have better options at their own weights and Cotto vs Alvarez as I think Cotto should fight a true middle

HWT: Klitschko vs Pulev winner to face WBC winner to unify all the bacon...I love heavy its my favorite class but I think it needs contenders to fight, not this deli line stuff.. The WBC has like 3 mandos....make em fight

200- Huck vs Diablo, nice Euro title unification, good style mesh I think

175- Obvious like hwt, unify the winner of Hopkins vs the Kovalev with Stevenson

168- Ward vs Anthony Dirrel, Dirrel has a belt and is a top guy at the weight and one of the few Ward hasn't already beat

160- GGG vs Cotto, get GGG his much deserved shot at the real title

154- Canelo vs Molina, unification and I think Molina provides a difficult test

147- the one we've waited for

    140- Garcia vs Mattysee 2

135- Crawford vs Beltran which I think we are getting...Beltran is my fave at the weight very talented guy who came up the tough way. I think at the very least he will be difficult for Crawford

130- Garcia vs Uchyama...Its one of the many shames in boxing when a guy is so dominant but is foreign and not on American big networks and isn't ever considered really

126- hmmmmmm I guess Lomachenko vs Doniare or a Salido rematch
