You also would be willing to put money on the fights.
Fight that will never happen as well.

Floyd would beat Arthur Abraham at 168 :smoke
Rigondeaux would beat Danny Garcia at 140 :smoke
Pacquiao would beat Peter quilin at 160 :smoke

Agree except Pacquiao would get KTFO by Quillin just like he was KTFO by 40 year old Marquez.

Divisions exist in boxing for a reason. Most guys wouldn't be able to jump up 2-3 divisions and beat any of the top tier (or even the tier of top contenders below that).

    Hahah, Povetkin certainly thinks so!

    MOST..
Some divisions are weaker, some are underrated, some fighters are underrated, some are overrated. Some styles still are wrong.
What Im trying to say Smoak, or propose if you will, weight isnt everything. :rasta

I think you would see a lot more weight jumping, and I mean A LOT MORE, if what I previously said wasn't far more correct than incorrect.

    Let me ask you this...

How many fighters in the history of (more than 8 division) boxing have won titles in 4 or more weight divisions?

People don't jump because the risk is probly never worth it. People are happy to play it safe and to fight people around their own weight. When in reality theres alot of worse boxers who happen to be heavier than them.

Theres a reason a lot of boxers will spar much heavier guys. Mikey garcia (130) was sparring Maidana (147) [they both were probly heavier to be fair] I would give Garcia a fair shot in a real fight against Chino but it wont ever happen.

    Answer: 14 fighters ever

    Tommy Hearns
    Ray Leonard
    Roberto Duran
    Pernell Whitaker
    Oscar de la Hoya
    Leo Gamez
    Roy Jones Jr.
    Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    Manny Pacquiao
    Erik Morales
    Jorge Arce
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Nonito Donaire
    Miguel Cotto

And as much as I love Arce, his claim is legit but he won his last two of those from vacancy over undeserving Angky Angkota. So, not to take anything away from Arce too much, buuuuut...
