    I'm not sure how accurate that info is, Pollack calls Thompson a heavyweight which is why I didn't pick him.
    Perhaps he might enlighten us at some stage?

    The 4 rounder with Thompson occurred on April 11th 1895.

    There is was no weight limit at heavyweight decades ago. Anyone could compete. The research at the CBZ was excellent. The weights listed are fine.

    Thompson is the answer to a good trivia question. Which famous heavyweight champion once lost a match to a man who stood 5'6" and weighted more more than 150 pounds? Answer: Jack Johnson
