Hmm... Two little excerpts from the interview:

    -------------

BT: There's also been some rumors regarding Leonard Ellerbe and Mayweather Promotions...

FM: (Cutting in) Leonard, I think we're just getting to a point where we're outgrowing each other. I think I just see things my way and I think he sees things in another way. For example, this time around when I went out and fought, my WBC and WBA titles in both weight classes were on the line and I didn't approve of that at all. That's something I didn't approve of. Also, my daughter was sitting in the front row and her mother wasn't sitting next to her, so the ticket arrangements were totally wrong. It just got to a point to where everyone wants to do what they want to do instead of communicating and compromising like we used to. We got to this point by us communicating and compromising...

BT: It sounds like something is going on. I know Rafael Garcia didn't seem too happy about something on fight night.

FM: Rafael Garcia is feeling a certain type of way because Bob Ware, AKA "Do It All" Bob, he wrapped my hands. Rafael is one of the best hand and eye specialists in the world. He's one of the best, if not the best, but even Alex [Ariza] was able to show Rafael some different things, which was great, and then Bob, he wrapped my hands in training camp and it was the best it felt in my life. I've never had my hands wrapped like that in 37 years. But I told Rafael that we work together as one, as a team, and his pay is not going to change...

    This is just dumb.

    No Ellerbe and Garcia?

    Bad omen for Floyd.

Those two are pivotal to Floyd's success.

Garcia's the best cut man in the biz but Ellerbe has never really done anything to help Floyd physically in the fights other than shouting, "yeahhhhhh, keep kickin' dat ass!"

Business, sure. But in the end his role may have been overstated to begin with. Just lean on Haymon and I'm sure money could buy a sharper mind than Ellerbe when it comes to the pure business/marketing side of it all.

how the **** so....Ellerbe don't do jack **** for him except stroke his foreskin......Garcia has worked a cut 1 time in his career with Floyd, and now with floyds new dancing shoes again, I'm sure he wont need a high end cut man.......

    Shocker.

I thought Floyd and Leonard were inseparable.

I fear for poor Leonard, he was so very dedicated and loyal to Floyd. I sincerely hope he'll be okay.

This reminds me of a movie I watched last night: Mulholland Drive. I hope the brokenhearted Ellerbe won't react to this the way the character Diane in that movie did.
