Pac v Rios was a loss. Floyd v Maidana a win. And think Maidana is a B-level fighter. PPV KING NO DOUBT! Floyd is the people's choice. Pac is the hater's choice.

    wrong.

    pac-rios was a win-win.

pac's purse came from venetian which doesnt rely on ppv buys but on gaming revenues.

it's widely acknowledged that pac brings the high rollers from asia to his fights, even in vegas.

corpsejr-madona was a loss to choketime. they expected ~1.5 and got burned.

Wouldn't trust numbers this early. Did they even release numbers from the first match? 925 is good. Can't see why people are calling that a flop anyway. Maybe not good for showtime considering Floyd's enormous purse but good far as numbers go. Little hard to believe tho. Everything I read said the buzz for this fight was nonexistent. Vegas was dead compared to usual floyd fight weeks.

where are all those people who were telling me that no one wanted to see this fight and Floyd had no options. Where are the one's saying there is no way in hell Maidana 2 could sell anything close to a Chavez-Froch or a Canelo-Cotto fight. Lets see them do 925

heehhehe. expinocha to this day hasnt release the figures for fight 1 and some already have the figure for the rematch. how convenient.

id rather wait for the more reliable and accurate numbers next week.

Where are all the floyd fanatics who cheer unconditionally for their hero? Where are all the nut lickin fanboys? Oh wait there u are right there! Ppv numbers have never been released this early. Put your boner away. Besides the 2 fights u mentioned have not even happened.

Well if he's the highest paid athlete and still "only" does .925 million buys isn't that alot of money anyways?

It's not like he's fighting for scrapes.

No, they hate him for his performances enough to say they won't be wasting $70-80 again. Hate would not make them 1. pay 2. to watch something that's boring to them. That's not Mayweather-Hate. That's self-hate.

At 37 he's putting a beating on fighters any ATG who have a defensive style, fought easy fights throughout their career, fought B graders for the overwhelmingly most part, would put on the young fighters. No one, not even *******s would dispute that he's an ATG.

plus, heads should be rolling at showtime soon. given that his PPVs(apart from Canelo and his rabid Mexican followers) have been average, where is showtime's profit?
