I said exactly the same thing to Rock Newman in Dallas Tx a few years ago. Rock & Riddick Bowe were guests of honour at the BlackTie fights in the Wyndham Anatole They were showing off the belts I couldn't resist saying to Newman " How can you claim to be Champion of the World when you blatantly renaged on Lennox Lewis' All Newman did was hold up the belts & say " We got the belts though" Bowe just looked embarrassed . Afterwards Newman said " Why should we risk it all against Lewis when people will buy Ferguson & Dokes with very little risk "?? I guess he had a point if you are a person with little or no self esteem

Let's be real, people are only quick to agree with Holyfield because they can't stand Mayweather. Let's say Mayweather fought Pacquiao next and beat him, would you guys be calling him a true champion and an ATG like Holyfield said he would? I doubt it. People would just say that Mayweather waited until Pacquiao was old and off steroids to fight him(even though Mayweather would be 38 himself and even though fighters aren't supposed to take PEDs). I really hope this fight somehow comes off just to see how much narrative changes.

"Pacquiao will knock X out/ or in less than 3 rounds"- Roach

    Happened once, never again.

He doesn't have the power to stop Maidana, not even close. :deal

I doubt he could knock Maidana down!!! :hi:

Since Maidana has been dropped by Khan Lopez and Ortiz its very possible that Manny stops him, you know Manny hits harder than Mayweather just by comparing their resumes. Maidana would recklessly run into something big from Manny.
Bradley, Rios and Marquez I think have proven they have damn good chins.

Maidana has never been stopped, and Manny's power is overrated, he has never stopped anyone at 147, ever.

Maidana easily takes those shots and possibly knocks out Pacroid with that shot!!! :deal

Margarito, Rios Bradleyx2 Clottey, Marquez all have proven great chins, not many fighters could stop them. Maidana was hurt by Soto Karass a few times, he's very overrated and vulnerable.

Not by Pac at least, maybe Thurman/Bailey could knock him out. :deal

Ever since Pac got off those shakes, his hand speed has also declined significantly.

The chances of Pac stopping Maidana, almost no chance. :thumbsup
