I dont know about a KO, but it would have put him down at the very least. Bradley lifted him off the ground, Maidana could probably KO HIM

Holyfield didn't waste his best yrs making excuses or ducking and doging his biggest challenge that's the difference here

after the 2nd rematch you could say he waited until all the odds where in his favor, Im a fan of both fighters and actually became a bigger an of boxing because of Pacquiao but it irks me when people try to diminish either of their accomplishments.

The perception had changed drastically by then. A lot of people figured Pacquiao, then accustomed to the higher weights, would destroy the older Marquez who looked slow and pudgy in his only fight that far north previously.

Many people were expecting an early sensational KO victory from Pacquiao to put an exclamation on the would-be trilogy. Not sure what the actual odds were on that one, especially as compared to the 2 previous, but I remember a lot of people criticizing Pacquiao for taking that fight, and most people seemed to think Pac would steamroll him (I include myself in that group, but that was the majority view at the time).

Never mind that Pacquiao is the younger of the two. An older guy waiting for a younger guy to get old. Hypocrisy at its best.

Why is duck_master posting under different names? Typical post. A post with a opinion that holds no merit. "Oh holy field says he is not champ, must mean holyfield is going to strip floyd of his belts."

    Idiot.

A lot of boxers also believe pac roided, yet you guys dismiss that easy.

No, it was the vast majority. After Mayweather put an absolute schooling on Marquez, many blamed it on the weight and said Marquez had no business at 47. Pacquiao, meanwhile, had beaten some names at 47 and was widely favored to beat Marquez easily.

everyone was saying it was a aure Pacquiao win, he was used to the welterweight limit, Marquez lost his only fight there by 12 rounds, Pacquiao was destroyimg people left and right, Marquez was looking old. I think it was Ariza that said even God couldnt help Marquez once they entered the ring

what will you say when pacquiao beats jr?:think jr is older then pacquiao but in terms of ring years and styles pacquiao with all the wars he's been in is actually the older fighter.
