    since when was 40 mill okay 5 years ago?
    it sounds like a lot of money until you know Floyd's cut

    this isn't like Floyd and pac's other fights where they can hold a gun to an opponent's head in negotiations, knowing that their opponent will never get a payday like that again - this was a 50/50 fight for the right to call themselves the undisputed best of their era - and they ****ed it up

    You've just stated floyd made a minimim 32 mil, and MM 3 mil. Is that not a success?

    Also I don't really buy these figures you've put up. How could you possibly know how much they need to break even? You don't have access to their accounts.

    Leave it alone already. Top Rank does not want that fight. Once Manny gets taxed, Top Rank will have no use for him. If anything it will be a cash out fight IF it happens.

    Neither party wants that fight as anything more than a final cash-out fight. They only mention the other as a tease to increase interest in their own less-interesting PPV fights.

    The cake's been cooked too damn long for it to be delicious, but there's still a line of fans willing to choke it down when it finally gets doled out to them anyways.
