Mayweather "Could take a year long break and fight Septemeber, not sure yet"

    Couple things come to mind when i read this

    1 - Cotto-Canelo is putting pressure on him! he knows theres nobody he can fight that can compare to that fight but pacquiao. Maybe he steps aside because Canelo bout to take over the date rom now on.


    2 - His making changes to the Money Team. maybe hes hoping Schafer is done with his lawsuit by Golden Boy so he can team up and try to get TMT going in the right direction since hes getting rid of Ellerbe

    3 - Fight in Sepetemeber so his last contracted fight is May 2016 or around that date which the new Arena opens March/April 2016 and he'll fight Pac then in new Arena and finish his contract same time. thats a big possiblty. Only problem with this is i think 30 months ends Septemeber 2015 so im not sure he can do that.

    4 - This one i dont think at all but epect the tards to come in and say this. Talks are heating up again and he wants to take a year off to see if Pac can lose his next fight with Algeri or one in the spring so the demand will go away. NOT BUYING THAT AT ALL SO STOP IT!!! Like i've said before, fight will happen for sure!!

    Maybe this thread wont me anything and Mayweather fights April/May. im just elaborating :bbb:bbb on what Mayweather said

    LOL Fighting Manny Pacquiao in 2016. Manny will be shot to **** by then. 'There ya go everybody, I'm fighting Manny Pacquiao'.

    Who is he going to fight I wonder. It would be madness to have a fight in May when there's Cotto-Canelo. Mayweather should be on the undercard.

    Thats why hes thinking about not fighting. he wont tell nobody straight up but Cotto-Canelo smokes any fight he does expct for Pacquiao. so either Pac fight or step aside and pass the torch

    Considering he fired the one guy in his team that consistently pushed for the fight with Pacquiao, it's obvious he's going to ride off into the sunset.

    This. Although I wish they'd come to some crazy ass agreement. Mayweather vs Pacquiao on the main event, co-headed by Canelo-Cotto. Then add Rigo vs Santa Cruz and Thurman vs Brook.

    It'll never happen, just a wet dream of mine. :dead

    Idk but as much as I try to not get in the middle of "who's duckin who" type deals, this looks really bad on Mayweather's part. He needs to stand up to the Cotto-Canlo date and sign the ****in fight with Pacquiao. The casual fans are gonna eat this news up when word gets out.

    I've never seen Ellerbe push for the Pacquiao fight.

    Could go both ways.. Mayweather himself can become over extended and worn out from years of boxing. He is almost forty now.

    Would still be cool to see if Pacquiao can still give him trouble in the ring though.

    I always felt Pacquiao's style would give Mayweather problems if they ever fought.

    We will only know if they actually fight. Hopefully SOON.
