Listen to Paulie. " Pac is an ez fight for Floyd and there are a lot tougher challenges out there for him!" This is another boring ass Mayweather decision that might not go 12 rounds. Most likely stoppage. Why can't you Tards get over it ? Keith Thurman, GGG or Danny Garcia are all more difficult fights for Money...

Other than Pac, how many other Bob Arum fighters has Mayweather not faced?

When will you simpletons start to understand that Mayweather won't put one wooden nickle into Bob Arum's greedy pocket.

Bob Arum & Todd Duboef said the same BS back in 2013.

    http://www.boxinginsider.com/column...hbo-get-floyd-mayweather-deal-manny-pacquiao/

Among the many impediments to the Monster Event is that Pacquiao fights on HBO, and Mayweather on Showtime, where he is under contract for six events — two down and four to go.

“We’ve always been willing to deal with Showtime,” DuBoef said. “We’re not going to be dismissive to anything.”

That was a signal, folks. It’s clear that the DuBoef knows more than he’s saying about the Showtime-Mayweather deal, and rather than try to blast through it, he’s decided to throw HBO under the bus. HBO, the dominant boxing network for most of the last two decades, won’t be a part of the Mother of all Mega-fights.

40M is 3x's more than Manny has ever seen. So why say no ? And his next fight was less than half of that...

Mind you. Pac was on the last fight of his contract and could've signed with Money for considerably more than he's getting now. Than he could've re'signed with Arum unless he lost. But we'll never find out will we. so Manny just took the safe route and resigned with uncle bob...

    how is that so?

pac is routinely paid in the vicinity of 20m and only a portion is taxable in the u.s.

    40m - u.s. tax - arum's cut = somewhere in the 25m range.

this isnt even 2x pac's ave. purse.

corpsejr is routinely paid 32m, except the drainelo fight where he got 70m+.

he will get in the vicinity of 80m, possibly more, fighting pac with a share of 60pct for a 3m ppv buys at 100 a pop.

that's almost 3x than his normal take except the drainelo fight, which will still be bigger than the his drainelo take.

pac will get somewhere in the 60m range which is also in the 3x category of his normal purse.

so what's the problem with the 60-40 split?

pac gets all the ppv revenue in the phils plus he gets to field fighters under his banner in the undercards.

only an idiot would give that up for a fix 40m.

    BRI just released the numbers.
Pac is taxed at 40% by the US IRS and 32% by the Phillipine BRI.

Arum is probably putting both of those in his pocket since both the IRS & BRI are up Pac's ass for non-payment.

You think Ellerbe was stupid enough to think he had the authority to negotiate a Mayweather fight with Pac without Mayweather's permission or knowledge? smh Some of you guys on here amaze me.
