Beating Cotto (again)/Pacquiao/Thurman for his last 3 fights.

You just can't deny this man a top 10 spot anymore.

    F.Mayweather, he really is TBE.

I do, but it doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

Whatever happens now will only boost his resume, even if he loses now, he doesn't lose anything at all.

He will be 38 by the time he fights next. :deal

Every win now will be an amazing win due to his age. :thumbsup

Floyd has nothing more ever to prove imo.

He's done enough to be a top 20 atg. :deal

Like I said in the OP, if he beats like Cotto/Pac/Thurman. That's just insane at his advanced age.

Of course a loss would affect his legacy, but not by much. If that 0 goes all that mystique of invincibility will evaporate. But like I said, he will still be considered an ATG, and the best fighter of his generation.

I really don't think a loss will do anything anymore. It will affect the perception we have of him in the short term. But when we look at it from an objectively afterwards, we will have realized that he is shot, 38 years old and no longer suited to be in boxing.

I just don't think this man has anything more ever to prove.

He's paid his dues, he's done it all.

He is by far the best fighter of his generation, someone who will go down as a bonafied atg.

No. If Floyd beats Pacquiao, Golovkin at 160 and some other monster at 160lbs on the level of Golovkin, then sure.

That's as likely to happen as FLoyd/Maidana 2 reaching 1.5 mill PPVs.

Cotto?? Why should he fight Cotto, a MW now, but not GGG, who can go down to the same weight as Cotto?? Why do *****s try so hard to let Floyd avoid GGG?

Floyd is an absolute legend but he is looking more and more vulnerable. He will probably lose in his next few fights to an inferior fighter due to his decline. Fighters which Floyd would have beat easily a few years ago may be able to beat Floyd now.
