If your expenses is much greater than the income, you're not a smart businessman.

    Agree
I like PAC and am not putting him down but just a fact his PPV has been with exception of Bradley, way down too quickly compared to Floyd. Bob grabbing cash outside the USA to make up for the last PPV:blood

Now with the Top Rank and Golden Boy talks maybe we, the fans, can see fights that deserve our hard earned cash.

Floyd really let us down with his last fight but I will learn from that mistake and even my homeboys were saying they lost respect for him after Maidana II :-(

Pipe dream bro......Floyd has no interest in fighting PAC so "negotiations" aren't even a valid topic since no one is going to make Floyd fight PAC.

pac lost and by ko, plus the fight was overseas. that helped explain the numbers in macau.

what was the numbers with bradley 1, macne 4 and bradley 2?

im sure they were 800+ minimum.

How does it being over seas effect ppv buys? Ppv is to watch it on tv not to go to the actual fight. It was also held in the morning in macau to cater to American buyers and advertised like all his other fights. Point blank it flopped. 400K buys vs rios. That's slightly more then marquez vs bradley ppv lol.

Said from the beggining when Mayweather signed his Showtime contract that Showtime would not make a profit unless Mayweather fought Canelo, Pacquiao, or moved up to fight legit middleweights which Mayweather will not do.
There just are'nt any elite welters for a Mayweather PPV to exceed 1 million buys unless its with Pacquiao.

From my view and I did'nt buy the PPV, 700k's is above what I would have predicted for a rematch that did'nt need to take place.

If Mayweather wants to continue as a welter he's got to fight Pacquiao or maybe even Amir Khan who can match his physical skills and talk up a good fight for the promotion.

i didnt know you are this dumb.

you cant watch it if you dont know it's going to be shown numbnut.

if it's going to be held overseas, it stands to reason, bulk of promotion will be geared towards fans in those places.

    got it now?

That simple, Mayweather is still the current PPV King simply because any if either fight were to fight the same opponent, the Mayweather fight would sell more.
Mayweather vs Joe Blow outsells Pacquiao vs Joe Blow. Not rocket science.

    Wrong!
Pacquiao vs Rios was promoted throughout the US media and and sattelite and cable providers as being PPV.
The Mayweather vs Canelo fight could have been staged in Indonesia and it still would have sold huge in the US market.

    in the past yes.

did you really think flopjr would do 600k in the rematch? and that is him still have his 0 intact, at least on paper.

fans are rapidly losing interest in his fights, especially without a pac fight in the horizon.
