was this a lie too, like the 925k ppv buys? there were many vacant seats and 2weeks before the fight, there were plenty of available tickets (at ticketmaster). i dont recall reading an article saying the event sold out. could flopjr bought half of the tickets?
flopjr lies all the time. wont be surprised. we will find out when forbes releases their list again.:good
They should have added a $1 surcharge to admission to go towards the "Help fund Pacquiao Lawsuit against Bob Arum" effort. Slavery was abolished in the US, but no one told Bob Arum.
there's no time stamp on the tickets sold. 2 weeks before the fight, i view ticketmaster, there were plenty seats available, like in the 25-30pct range. it's color coded so you can easily see it. now, when a day or 2, thousands are bought by same company or person, that's suspicious. again, in the actual fight i see there were plenty of vacant seats available. no article ive read, it;s sold out or near sold out. in fact 2 days before the fight, they are still selling tickets. Tickets After the two boxers battled for 12 entertaining rounds in May, the September bout between the two is expected to sellout. Tickets are still available at ticketmaster.com, but the cheapest seat can only be had for $374.15. If the fight sells out like it did the first time, the MGM Grand stands to make approximately $15 million on tickets sales, according to the Las Vegas Sun. The tickets are going for a lot of money on the secondary ticket market, with the cheapest seat at StubHub being sold for $425.20 just two days before the fight. Ringside seats, which can only be purchased on the secondary market, can be bought for no less than $4,487.60 on StubHub. then you have the resellers, which prolly explain why there too many vacant seats because they werent able to resell them to real customers.
Floyd, loses no money here, what is the problem? He, earns guaranteed money. something, that pisses the haters off!!
