Carl Froch is a bellend

Yeah Groves wasn't that bad but yet he still can't help trying to tarnish Froch's win by describing the knockout punch as 'one from the gods'. When Froch quite clearly stated it was his best punch because of the circumstances and the effect it had, rather than the actual power behind it (going on to refer to Kessler taking shots like that throughout their fights and not going down).

So that's why Froch was well within in his rights to remain surly and give it to Groves last night - regardless of Grove's playful tone. He knows whatever credit he gives Groves, Groves will twist it and use it against him to push for a third fight. So he quite nicely pre-empted that by continuing to adopt a militant tone. Groves has nothing to work with now to push for a third fight; no words to twist. Even more so after looking pretty average in the fight itself.

 

You'd think Froch would be happy Groves gave him his biggest pay day, EVER!

I'm a huge Carl Froch fan and he seems like genuinely great bloke but whenever on the topic of Groves he acts like an arsehole. When he fought Kessler there was never such a good atmosphere between two fighters and Froch never said one bad word or brought up the fact he won and that is down to having respect for the other fighter

 

The bald one is still gloating over his 'win' over Degale.

Carl is right to rub it in, and quite frankly he's been a little bit restrained imo.

It's not like Rebrasse is a fighter who's been smacked about and been brought in to make Groves look good.

He's European champion with a ranking which Groves took in order to gain a mandatory shot.

Might not be the most talented fighter, but that doesn't take away the fact he's a tough *******.
