Ezra Sellers cut Ike Ibeabuchi in a sparring session. Afterwards, Ibeabuchi kicked Sellers in the knee, causing Sellers to tear ligaments.

Speaking of Ibeabuchi, he got manhandled by Keith McKnight & Kirk Johnson while sparring.

Jack Dempsey floored Two Ton Tony Galento in sparring I believe in Gleason's gym in NY.
Foreman said Liston was the only man ever to back him up during sparring sessions
Max Schmeling busted Dempsey's recently fixed nose (nose job) in sparring
James Toney and Danny Green was classic Toney is the man

Ivan Calderon winning every round over Oscar

Ivan Calderon winning every round over Mosley

Amir Khan dropping Manny Pacquiao three times in total over several camps

    Carlos Monzon KO Joe Frazier

Roberto Duran KO (literally, a donkey)

    EDIT:

    Edison Miranda KTFO Chad Dawson
    * Dawson's then-trainer Scully admitted that this happened in preparation for the Ward bout. However, he says it was a big knockdown but nothing more. Reports of Dawson being uncoscience for five minutes and unable to stand for ten were dismissed by Scully as exaggeration. He said it was a hard KD, but nothing that doesn't happen to every fighter at some point. Still, much was made of this as the rumor surfaced just a week or so before Ward/Dawson and it wasn't long after that it was confirmed.

The video of Golovkin vs. Mosley sparring 2013 was ridiculous. You get the feeling Mosley was fighting for his life with his patented shake, rattle, n roll and triple jab to the body while Golovkin was more or less landing what he wanted and playing nice to the old man.

    ---

Would love to see the Golovkin vs. Alvarez sparring from 2010 (maybe 2011). Those watching have said, in different accounts, that Golovkin clearly got the better of it but that it was competitive. Golovkin once claimed afterward that Alvarez was the best fighter he had ever faced; professionally, as an amateur, and even just in sparring. Quite high praise, given Golovkins' experience.

Some of you guys really have no clue about sparring... It means nothing... Everyone gets beat up at some point. Everyone gets dropped at some point. Everyone gets cut at some point. At the top level everything is magnified. Everyone has beaten somebody significantly greater than they are at some point. Everyone has beaten somebody significantly lesser than they are at some point.

The best sparring stories are all ones you've never heard. Gentleman's code with everyone involved.

The best sparring stories you have heard are likely fabricated or exaggerated.

    ---------

    It simply isn't possible?!

    Then you say this:

"I saw Quincy Taylor rock Ray Leonard's world had him on rubber legs. Ray wouldn't spar with Quincy again. He credited this incident for changing his preparation for Hagler's power."

Well, what is to prevent me from taking the same stance you did above with Lennox/Ruiz? Are you merely a Lennox fanboy or Ruiz hater or something?

That's exactly what 99% of the reports I have read stated. OP post was bull****.

Spencer Fearon said that Deontay Wilder knocked out David Haye in sparring during one of their sessions the first time Wilder came over to Haye's camp to spar him. Fearon's pally with Haye and Booth too. He said Haye hurt Wilder the next time he came to camp though. He made him ''see white'' apparently.
