I am just stating the obvious, we cannot deny that Mayweather's last 4 opponents did not have the speed to compete with Mayweather and all flat footed.

It has been a long time since Mayweather have fought a boxer with speed and foot work.

 

Well, obviously they couldn't compete with him in retrospect.

Post 42,000 in the "Whine About..." thread shows that you thought Maidana beat Floyd in the first fight. Now you are trying to save some face and changing your view of the fight?

If you are going to have a **** score and **** opinion and try to be genuine about it, at least stick with it, buddy.

The first fight was close, it could have gone either way as Maidana was in control in the first half of the fight in my opinion.

You have yours and I have my opinion, REASON why I said Mayweather lost that fight was because Mayweather was -1200 favourite to WIN the fight.
I just didn't expect Mayweather to struggle with Maidana who is 1 dimensional and has been OUTBOXED before.

it was easy to pick holes in khan at the time, and even though a lot of people liked the fight it was also a good chance for people to slate mayweather, but i think it would have been a way better fight. Id say when mayweather seen he could get away with fighting maidana as loads of people were slating khan he took it , thinking he got away with the easier fight

Why people still defend Guerrero and Maidana.Guerrero after Floyd fight struggled with Kamekai.that should say it all,and before Floyd beat Aydin and Berto.

Really people should get grip of live.and make thinks worse,Guerrero was stylistically perfect for Floyd.

Now Maidana.lost clearly to Alexander.and also lost to AMIR KHAN.after Alexander he was in "huge" streak.beating Jesus Soto Karass,Josesito Lopez and lastly Adrian Broner.

It still gets me laughs that Broner was ticket for Floyd.Maidana has stepped up 2times before in his career and both times came short.we will see what the future holds for Maidana,expecting he will look good against mediocre opposition.but as soon he steps up again he will lose.

Maidana is brawler,Alexander is boxer,Khan is boxer,and you all know what Mayweather is.

It's really sad that people ignore Khan still,Khan is more proven than Guerrero or Maidana.Khan kryptonite has been his chin,never been outboxed.against Floyd Khan don't need to worry about his chin.

Yes Floyd is proven and he has nothing to prove.but one thing,IF Floyd keeps fighting and claiming hi is the BEST he should fight against the best.that's real simple,but still people are giving him pass?

Again saying,in every other sport if you are the best you have to compete against the best.

Because you can pick how often and against whom you fight. You can also not fight someone with no reason needed. You can fight as often or as seldom as you want.

There is no consensus standings or record to look at which tells you who is better than who. Like no other sport quite is, boxing is so up to the opinions of the beholder and the range of opinion is wide as each little opponent can be picked apart. And then the opponents of the opponent get picked apart. ANd then people try to stay consistent (which is always fun).

Most importantly why it differs from almost every other sport that is followed: It is an individual sport.

 

Because Khan has one of the worst Chins in the business.

A sharp counter that he doesn't see could turn his legs spaghetti.. again!atsch
