Do people really think Showtime is losing money...???

Think about it, Showtime raises their basic service fees, raises ads sponsorship, promotions, etc. That money is then divided amongst the Showtime entities (Boxing, Orginal Programming, New Movies, etc.)

Then, in regards to PPV boxing, the corporate sponsorships are magnified immensely to offset some of the cost. A company like Corona, Tecate or Budweiser is spending (ballpark figures) $10 million for one event, with the contractual agreement to showcase their respective logo, and sale their product at the casino. Then you need to factor in food, beverages, bottled water, liquor. All those sponsorships / working agreements puts money back into Showtime.

Once all the concessions are added up, Showtime makes roughly 17 million dollars.

Then you need to factor in Merchandise sales. Some casinos/ Showtime charge rental fees to Merchandisers / Vendors with a percentage being obtained by the Casino/ Showtime. Thats another pay to Showtime to help with the PPV cost.

Everybody i know on my end said they saw the fight. Real boxing fans saw the fight and i believe there are millions that tune in. Even professional boxers probably paid for the fight ,Stars celebrity ,bob arum /roach/Pac all paid to see the fight.
12 pages so far so everyone either saw the fight Sept 13 or watch the recap either way Showtime Boxing wins.

SHO is definitely losing money. At least SHOBox. The kind of guarantee that they gave Floyd tied up A LOT of their monies that they use to put on fights. Their expectations were unrealistic based on the way Floyd's numbers were with HBO. Floyd's popularity and stock peaked when Floyd decided to jump ship and now it's been a struggle for Floyd to crack the million PPV buy mark. Outside of the Nelo fight Floyd hasn't delivered on what they expected from the p4p king. The executives at Showtime are pissed but it's hard to pressure a guy that has a $32 million guarantee for whoever he decides to fight. Floyd doesn't want Manny. If anyone still believes that he wanted or wants the fight you clowns are gullible and I have beachfront property to sell you in Idaho.

Sh*t! The US and PI tax bureau's aren't losing money......dem boys are collecting! That's what they do..... No one is exempt. So no one should worry about those boys in the government becuase there are two things that is sure to happen...... You will die and you will pay taxes.

Look you obviously are a ***** and thats fine, but for some reason you keep bringing up the PPV numbers Pac Vs Rios did in Macau. Yes they showed it in the US and was advertised. You even at some point pointed out it was shown in the MORNING, and that is the reason it will not sell PPV its the morning DUMBa$$

it;s already known, esp by tr.

it;s not like arum hasnt staged a ppv overseas in the past.

pac just got brutally kod, fought a bum who also lost, in a far away place, with promotional budget split in 2 countries, yet got 400k+

flopjr got 600k where he is expected to do ~1.5kk to break even.

tmt\s first major promo is a big flop.

ellerbee got the boot as a result. no explanation needed.

    and new...................................................................:hi:

edit: meant to reply to a *****.:good

They might have seen it, but only the A1 ***** mugs actually bought this ****, plus a load of Latinos who follow Chino. Who wants to watch Mayweather run away for 12 rounds with his own referee, glove restrictions and against a mediocre opponent?
