Yeah I thought that as well, Hearn was very smug in his IFL video I'd imagine he he made it as difficult as possible to put off Sauerland from wanting to do future events.

Sky should be dealing with more than one Promoter they have just handed Matchroom a payday for doing very little.

Eddie running scarred incase sky give another promoter some sky dates which would be great for the sport.....give it time and sky will distribute their dates im sure on that. Its a case of Eddie getting to big for his boots and walking around sky studio like Charlie big bollocks

They have handed Matchroom a monopoly and a license to print money and this also drove the majority of British boxers to sign up with them.

It's ridiculous that George Groves would of had to sign a more than likely inferior deal with Matchroom just to fight on Sky.

You're missing the point - the issue isn't about the bias of promoters towards their fighters (which is hardly a shock), the issue is about distribution, and in particular Sky Sports in the UK.

I like Kalle. Seem's like a good guy.

It'll be good to see Price & Groves on SKY.

Although the band was annoying the atmosphere was great, much better than a normal Sky Sports card.

Hearn in his interview seemed pretty happy with the arrangement fiscally so it might just be a throwaway comment by Kalle.

I thought he was rubbing it in that he'd just earned a nice profit by doing very little but i think he's bluffing and trying to put off Sauerland. Hearns worst nightmare would be Sky dealing with other Promoters.

I thought Kalle was referring to dealing with the venue, not Matchroom. I've always had the impression that the two promoters get along well.
