He showed he can fight with a tough and durable guy who punches back for 12 rounds and outbox him easily. He was gassed at points late on but a lot of boxers take a breather then keep coming back-which is what Groves did.

As for his career being shortened...we will never know Ash.

Groves didnt gas so much though, just took breathers. Most fighters do it? He wasnt clinging on for life for the last 3 rounds was he.

I dont think the Froch fight will have impacted on whether he is fighting at 36. Its still early in Georges career.

sorry pal but he was breathing out his ass

seems to use lots of jittery energy a few lads noticed it and there groves fans

brutal knockouts have been proven to shorten and ruin fighters of longevity

Froch should give Groves a rematch so they can make it a best of 3.

    Groves would go 2-1 up

It happened in years gone by, Kaz. Think Robinson/Bobo Olson, Saddler/Pep and Fullmer/Robinson. In all those fights the challengers got another shot at the champ having been being brutally knocked out previously.

I dunno, I think plenty would like like to see it, Kaz.

Groves/Froch is always going to be a highly entertaining, competitive fight between two fierce, powerful fighters. They are well matched.

Groves got sparked in their last fight, but it was against the momentum of the fight – he was up on my scorecard and boxing well.

Froch is up 2-0 in the rivalry. That doesn’t mean they can’t go at it again.

When you say Groves '...has done F**k all', how about beating an olympic gold medalist (De Gale), destroying the current -5 WBO contender (Smith) in two rounds, and knocking down Froch heavily in a previous meeting? Come on, let's be fair, that's hardly 'F**k all', is it.

So many people confusing their own opinions with fact on this forum.

So predictable. Groves fights and his army of fan boys get excited and start tapping away on all of the boxing forums.

You seem to, understandably, have the ultimate hatred for the man whom slayed your hero.
