Rafael Nadal is tennis player, how often you have heard Nadal saying he refuse to play against Djokovic?Should Usain Bolt choose against who he wants to run?

Yes the format is little bit different.

But i find it hilarious, that still someone keeps defending boxing system.that's the main reason this great sport is watering down.

I understand wery well casuals has no interest about boxing, because they usually know one fighter is there to win and other is to lose.

If you give Floyd pass to fight against these handpicked fighters, who are usually slow and no footwork.it's okay, but don't expect that others will buy into that.

I'm huge Floyd fan by the way,but i find this disgusting that he is not challenging him anymore, yes maybe that's age.but then he should step aside.

I don't want to protect Floyd, just want to see the best competing against eachothers.

For all his failing, I dont think anyone would consider Ortiz flatfooted or slow.

My friend Guerrero is a 4 weight titlist and a legit 2-division Champ he got the fight because he beat the #1/2 contender for the title making himself mandatory that doesn't seem hard to understand Guerrero missed a year and had a tough fight vs a low ranked WW Khan has been active and had tough fights vs low ranked LW's, Guerrero was also unbeaten for 8 years through 3 division's.

Outside of Mayweather in the rematch and Alexander nobody has dominated Maidana that includes Khan who barley won, Maidana was a Champ/titlist at JWW and a champ at WW outside of A.Martinez every opponent has been top 10 at WW culminating in him winning a title vs Broner I thought champs were supposed to look to unify divisions? saying that Khan is more proven isn't really accurate in the last 12 months Khan has ducked both Guerrero and Maidana so what are you actually saying.

It's about context when Mayweather fought Guerrero, Robert was #3 at WW and rated higher than guys like Bradley & Marquez and Khan was struggling with Diaz. Maidana was rated #4 and actually said f*** Mayweather and wanted to defend the WBA WW title vs Khan for talking trash and Khan ducked out.

question who do you consider the best?

This ****er should go into retirement so we cannot hear from his anymore. The PPV numbers are telling us that even the casual boxing fans are tired of this whole mascarade.

    Good post.

I consider Floyd number 1,and after that clearly Pacquaio.that's different subject why they never fought.sad that we are living in time when these two have been number 1 and 2 last 5years and never fought, instead we had these Guerrero's with Floyd, and people defending it.

Yes i give you that Guerrero some what earned his shot ranking wise, but c'moon beating Aydin and Berto is nothing amazing.it's only handpicking the right moment and opponent.those boxing rankings are screwed, altough i admit Guerrero should have been in talks to get the fight against Floyd.it made sense only because rankings, yes Guerrero was former champion, but he skipped the hot JWW division.

Aydin never fought top rated fighter,Berto was somewhat exposed already against Victor Ortiz so it's nothing amazing.or do you rate Aydin and Berto as great win's?of course now the idea sounds hilarious.but even then those two were only okay victories,or should i say Berto was okay.because Aydin was completely unproven.

First fight against Floyd and Maidana never should happened.Maidana still had problems with Alexander and Khan.yes Maidana was "champion" altough even in my wildest dreams i can't rate Broner as a WW champion.Broner almost lost to Malignaggi and that should tell it all, beating a man who goes life and death with Malignaggi should not earn you a shot against Floyd.again this made sense only because of crooked rankings.

Beating totally unproven Broner should not put you to top 5 at WW.and by the way Broner also skipped the hot JWW.and Maidana was exposed there.

in my opinion both get their shots because crooked ranking systems,so everybody could claim they are top rated fighters.

Guerrero has not beaten even one quality fighter north of LW in his life to this day,
If we not include Floyd.Guerrero has 3fights north of 135pounds,against Aydin,Berto and Kamegai.that should say it all

And Maidana was not even number 1 at JWW also.lost to Khan and soon moved up,then debuted against Alexander and lost.then chose easier path and avoided Alexander rematch,Brook,Thurman,Porter and instead chose the Soto Karass,Lopez and Broner route to fame.

Mostly i'm knocking the way how boxing works, both were rated top 5 even tough they never fought top fighters or they lost to them.and how their opponents was getting the rankings is beyond unbeliavable.

But their management were indeed genious because we have people defending them trough crooked rankings.

Garcia,Khan,Alexander,Bradley,Pacquaio,Marquez beating maybe one of these fighters would be respectaple way to earn Floyd fight?maybe there are some names who should not be there or maybe there should be couple of more, but these fighters were pretty good and definetly stiffier competition than Aydin,Berto,Soto Karass,Lopez and Broner?

    Just ask Willie Limond.

As long as people keep defending this bs Mayweather will keep doing it. The media have let him get away with it for far too long. Thankfully they are starting to be more critical now.

I've said it for a long time now, Khan needs to concentrate on Prescott.
I think that is his level anyway.
Mayweather isn't fooled by Khan as a self promoter.

other words: you can argue madona, ortreez, guerrero is on the same level as rios. you can make a case for anyone beating another.

yet pac coming from a brutal ko loss, shutout rios and close to ending it in the last round and getting criticized for taking on come forward brawler.

meanwhile, flopjr handicapped madona, taking his only chance of beating him.

it;s like paying the opponent to take a dive. not quite the same but similar.

in the rematch, not only he took madona's chance, he just made it much harder for him by bringing his own personal ref.

good it was a major flop.

now flopjr would think twice of fooling the public again.

latest hype im reading is flopjr will turn into incredible hulk by slurping on peds supplied by arizzah and memou.

yes they stoop this low after all the **** they talk about pac on peds. *****s lol.

then at the end of the fight, failing to get another ko, we will hear the same excuse "my hands hurt waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
