    Full interview on homepage.

Rick says that Espinoza continuously inflates the ppv buys numbers in order to mislead consumers.

How would inflating numbers make any difference to consumers?

To save face for losing money on that deal they gave Floyd. They have to inflate #'s to make it seem as if they're not losing money when in reality they really are.

I was surprised when they said it did higher than the first. Even Pac-Brad rematch did less than the first, and that one deserved a rematch!

All this time I though Espinoza said "No comment" to the numbers, and that the 925,000 estimate was just that, an estimate based on network feedback.
So, if Glaser is so confident about his estimate, why doesn't he show the math to back up his lie, I mean estimate?

Yeah but why would consumers care?

Sounds more like something you'd lie to investors about.

it;s call ed lying to the public, to make an impression they purchase a superior product, to make them feel good about their purchase and buy the next fights as well.

now if expinocha announced the fight flopped because the public viewed it as inferior product (shitty fight with shitty undercards), if youre one of the buyers, youd be ashamed you were conned into buying a farce and wont buy the next fights.

Honestly this number is a lot more believable and I've heard that Glaser is a reliable source when dealing with PPV numbers. I really had trouble believing the 925K figure because I didn't notice much hype leading up to the fight.
