    drainelo-clottey.

winner takes on cotto. loser is fed to ggg.

then winner vs. winner. would be an entertaining 2015.

He is pretty over rated in my opinion but a top guy in the division.

Pretty clear HBO is setting up a Canelo-Cotto showdown, with the winner angling for a Floyd rematch or, less desirably (from the fighter's $$$ standpoints, not HBO's), a fight with Golovkin.

Look for Sam Soliman to benefit from a bidding war (and, knowing how boxing works, some underhanded payouts) because Haymon and K2/HBO are each going to want their hands on his title....provided he doesn't get screwed against Taylor first.

    Pretty sure that's Chavez Jr...

  12. The big deal is that it’s not so much about Canelo going back to HBO as it is about the possibility of getting Golden Boy fighters fighting Top Rank fighters on HBO. This switch is a calculated move by Oscar, Canelo and the guys helping Oscar at Golden Boy. They want to be able to have the freedom to have their fighters fight fighters from Top Rank. And if that means fighting on HBO, then so be it… As of now, there is no word on what happens with Golden Boy fighters fighting on Showtime. As of now, Al Haymon and TMT do not have the capacity to put on large fights without using Golden Boy. If they did, they would have done it by now. So Oscar is opening a familiar door (HBO) for his star attraction and showing other fighters that "Hey… I got this done, and if you want to have the freedom to fight on either network against fighters across the promoter lines… I can get that done." I think that’s the larger message to this

No way Chavez sucks but everyone knows that lol. So hes not overrated.

Canelo is decent but considered elite so he is overrated but honestly I like the guy and am rooting for him so I don't care if hes hyped up

He leaves Showtime and fights an amazingly inferior opponent to his last 4 opponents (Trout, Mayweather, Angulo, Lara)...

Hmmmmm... I think we could all agree to call that disappointing.

At least it's not going to be on HBO PPV and instead just available to subscribers.
