"I thought Kalle was referring to dealing with the venue, not Matchroom. I've always had the impression that the two promoters get along well"

Pretty sure its this. Sauerland and Matchroom need each other at the minute, especially with the SMW division essentially been split between them, most of the big fights are between the 2 camps.

Also, Eddie has mentioned on a few occasions the great relationship they have

Kalle is a better promoter than Hearn in my opinion.

Tthat being said he is a smarmy **** but so is froch

The Sauerlands definitely do a better job with the actual event. They've always put on good shows. Eddie has the dates, Kalle/Nisse have the razzmatazz and £££.

sky wanted groves hes got a big following now and groves wanted to be on sky just seems hes got no time for hearn - wouldnt be surprised when the ratings come out if it was the highest for boxing all year on sky sports.

sky also seem keen to get frampton back now aswell another with no time for hearn.

Just kill that band, they are pathetic, we don't need a band at boxing venue's, the fans create that great spontaneous atmosphere, a sport of the individual that unites us all in one voice, one chorus of appreciation, we don't need corny cheer leader drum bangers, for me, they have the reverse effect on the atmosphere, they interrupt it.

You need the band so that boxing=football=ingerlund oi, oi, otherwise working class people won't be interested apparently. Let's face it it's cheaper than booking Cliff to bring in the tennis crowd.

Hearn is losing his grip on the exclusive sky contract :)
As some have said - sky are behind Groves being on board with them and Fast car was basically forced to give Sauerland one of his dates (and it is 1 of Eddies dates not an additional one) despite George humiliating him and signing for Sauerland and not matchroom..frampton and McGuigan could be next to get a deal something that Hearn must be an absolutely bricking..

Rightly so. Surely Sky would rather have Groves and Frampton, two popular fighters who can entertain and put on a show, than some of the mediocre lads Hearn has them hyping up.
