    Great post.

Until you said "we all know floyd really fights around 160lbs."

He has weighed in the night of the fight for most of his fights. He weighs anywhere from 148-151.5.

If they were fighting in the same weight category the answer would be yes. Like I said, take Hearns and Pac.

If they fought at 147 they would weight the same, but Hearns would have about 6in reach on Pac and because his arms are far longer, he can generate far more power than both.

In practical fighting terms, Hearns can jab his way to victory or knock either out in devastating fashion. Pac would be forced to try and get on the inside in order to beat Hearns, which is a much harder task.

Weighed 150.5 in the ring vs. Alvarez despite weighing 151 on the scales.

That is consistent with all previous in ring weights he has provided for his fights.

You think one year later, at WW, he started ballooning an additional 10 pounds between weigh in and fight night? Dude spare me that bullsh*t.

i think natural weight is where the combination of speed, strength, power and stamina are at their combined peak. i think for floyd its welter and for pac jr welter.
natural size has more to do with the ratios of bone density and thickness, muscle weight and fat percentage. if youre carrying around lots of fat, you are the same natural size as someone with your same body but without all the extra pounds in fat, even though youre 30 pounds heavier than him. same way you can have 2 guys with the same length but one has more muscle and thicker bones, larger tendons, etc... so he is the naturally bigger man, he can carry the extra weight comfortably and not lose anything.

Funny how people think. Anyway, just include the idea that some humans have denser bones making them heavier than others. He he he. Humans.........

"I'm on vacation for about a year, about a year," Mayweather said. "As soon as we come off vacation, we're going to cook that little yellow chump. We ain't worried about that. So they ain't gotta worry about me fighting the midget. Once I kick the midget ass, I don't want you all to jump on my d---. So you all better get on the bandwagon now. ... Once I stomp the midget, I'll make that mother f----- make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice."

this is older but mayweather probably is bigger then pac about 5 pounds at the most and it might be lighter then 5, more like 3 pound difference. at 16 they both fought at 106. only difference pac was pro and floyd was am.

They aren't the same size at all.

Floyd has more reach than Andre Ward, he has more reach than Mike Tyson, 1 inch longer (it's true, look it up, 72'' for Floyd, 71'' for Mike and Ward , 67'' for Paquiao)

    Paquiao is 5'6 1/2, Floyd 5'8.

Paquiao had to put weights on his pockets to reach the MINIMUMWEIGHT at the beginning of his career. He was a walking skeleton.

In his last fight, Floyd was bigger than Maidana, weighing 160 lbs.

Paquiao looks already too heavy at 147, having stamina problems.

He should be fighting at 140.

Floyd should be fighting at middleweight. He has never fought in reach disadvantage in his entire career.
