Unless HBO or SHOWTIME make an official announcement, never believe the so called inflated projections or estimates especially when they come from Kevin Iole who has been proven to be full of ****.

HBO/SHOWTIME have shareholders, if they made an official statement that inflated the PPV buys this could be deemed as fraud and a criminal offence plus also get them in trouble with the Internal Revenue Service.

Espinoza will carry on saying "No comment" to Guerrero and both Maidana PPV figures as they didn't reach the SHOWTIME Break Even point which must be at least 1 million PPV's.

The only reason Espinoza is still in a job right now is due to the Canelo PPV figures but they'll end up losing bigtime on the deal by the 6th fight especially as there's no one left out there for Mayweather to make 1mill+ PPV's not called Manny Pacquiao and Floyd is too chicken**** to fight him.

    July 21, 2014.

Showtime’s Stephen Espinoza has announced that it will withhold upcoming PPV buy rates due to the controversy surrounding the Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana PPV.

.....interesting, Mayweather still have 2 fights left for Showtime with a guaranteed $32 Million.

Damn.....very surprised. SHO is definitely losing money if these numbers are accurate. That Nelo fight did extremely well but all the other fights haven't hit that threshold where Showtime gets a return on their investment.

For those blinded by Floyd nutsack, the only reason they inflate these numbers is "up " Pacman . Should a fight between May and Pac ever materialize, May would quickly say " i average # a ppv and want a ridiculous amount of the profit"...

For whatever reason, he is anti Showtime and pro Arum. It is reflected in most of his comments. Hard to view it as an unbiased source.

Glaser is a funny dude and I don't think he knows anything here. Anyway, I've changed my mindset recently when it comes to this sort of thing. Maidana deserved the rematch and it was fine and all, but Floyd needs something dramatic next in order to hold onto the throne in terms of being the most marketable guy in the sport. He did that last year with Canelo after Ghost so here's hoping he's shrewd enough to realize this.

Canelo - Cotto, GGG- Ward, Wilder-Haye, PAC vs DSG, etc not all would surpass a Floyd fight but would get hardcores buzzing again and start bringing back some non-Mayweather casuals.

It's important for us to be heard, continue tuning in legally and supporting fighters and shows that we like as much as we can. We all ***** and take sides in network/promoter disputes but the last thing we need is any of the networks pulling out of the sport, a sport that means dick to 99% of their subscribers in reality.

    Glaser don't know crap.

All he is doing is spewing his unsubstantiated opinion, much like the Mayweather haters on ESB do.

No where in his comments does he explain where he gets the 750K from.
At least the Yahoo estimate says they determined their numbers from polling networks and comparing to the 1st fight.
Glazer just says the fight did 750K and we should believe him without proof of how he derived the number.

I smell a liar at work here.
