It seems like belts only matter when fighters you like has the title, but as soon as a fighter you don't like has a title or a champ is defending it vs someone you don't like then who's a champ doesn't matter. 9/10 the Champs in a division are the best in a given division.

Khan might be able to give Mayweather problems it remains to be seen but Khan ducking Alexander, Guerrero, Maidana rematch, Thurman, and apparently Lopez now in hopes of landing a fight vs Mayweather isn't going to cut it. guys like Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz actually beat top 5 ranked fighters and Champs to be considered for a fight.
These part time fans always complain about fighters getting title shot without doing anything yet people are mad at Mayweather for wanting Khan to actually do something notable at WW to get a shot? like how does Garcia KO Khan but Khan is considered a better win.

Who's promoting Khan. If Khan is with GBP, I expect Mayweather to exercise any and every demand to gain an advantage, and he'll get them too if Khan is with GBP. They do everything Mayweather demands. I don't give Khan much of a chance if that's the case

Not sure. People talk like Floyd isn't fast...the fight makes good business sense, though. Gotta give Khan that. But people forget that Floyd plays chess in the ring, not checkers. Khan comes across as more of a checkers kind of guy...

The bit where you say 9/10 of champs are the best of the division is not really true on the case of maidana, Pauline malignaggi knocked out senxjenko before arguably beating broner who then lost to maidana .very few would consider all those fighters the best if the welterweight division at the time

Khan absolutely dominated and hurt Bumdana. He ruined him. Bumdana could barely catch him, with all the lether landing on his face and his body.

Indeed, Khan would stand no chance against a younger Floyd but now, Khan can beat Floyd.

Until Floyd officially announces Amir as his opponent , then it turns into an easy cherry pick.

Surprised that some of those uppercuts didn't put Maidana down. Would like to see Mayweather vs Khan think it would be entertaining.

I don't think that even ardent Khan fans would say that he would beat Mayweather for sure, but his style and boxing skills would cause Floyd problems, and certainly more problems than faced against boxers with slow footwork, like Maidana, Canelo and Ortiz.

It would be a good, technical boxing match. Khan's speed, punch variation and ability to box on the outside may cause Floyd problems.

Who cares whether Khan deserves it or not. As boxing fans its decent match up we want to see.

Khan is such a vicious body-puncher when he can be bothered to go down there. He should really stick to that and focus on it some more.

His hand-speed is blurring at times, it really is.
