Assuming he gets past Clottey in Dec, the list of fighters Canelo is interested in taking on include Pacquiao, Cotto, Chavez jr, & GGG. If he takes on all 4 within the next year and a half how do you see him doing.

I think Canelo has a good chance to beat all 4 by various margins
Canelo-Pacquiao @ 152, Canelo mid rd KO too much size and power.
Canelo-Cotto @ 160, Canelo late TKO youth takes over
Canelo-Chavez jr @ 160, Canelo UD Barnburner but skill prevails
Canelo-Glovokin @ 160, Canelo SD, experiences edge pulls him through.

Anyway how do you see these potential matchups playing out?

Cotto and maybe Pacquiao depending on how shot he is are the only ones I'd give him a shot against. Golovkin is too big and too superior and Chavez is probably too big as well and would likely be at least a bit motivated for such a fight.

Both Chavez and Golovkin would knock Canelo out badly.

They would all be great matches to make.

Golovkin and Chavez would give him hell.

I think from an entertainment stand point Canelo-Chavez would be the best fight, jr got a lot of heart if he got more focus on boxing he could be a lot better.

Pacquiao isn't going to fight canelo at anything but 147, and canelo isn't going to drain himself to 152 again. So I don't see that fight ever taking place. And if it did Pacquiao speed and movement gets him the decision. Cotto is the only realistic fight that will get made Jr, GGG are just too big. But who knows, I believe canelo not by his fault won't see those fights.

With Canelo on HBO and Showtimes weak match ups this year, i just wonder how long fighters will stay Haymon for, i see some interesting times coming post Floyd.

This makes for a great showdown between Mayweather and Canelo for those Mexican holiday dates in May and Sept.
Clearly, something or somebody has to blink and I don't think it's going to be Canelo or HBO.
Espinoza and Mayweather have some serious decisions to make.

You're all going to be proven wrong. This is AMERICA not Mexico. Floyd will win the PPV battles. Canelo-Angulo (two mexicans) couldn't even beat Pac v Rios. The stupid myth that Mexicans make up PPV is about to be shattered. I don't care if it's Cinco de Mayweather or Independence day.

of the 4 I only see the Pacquaio fight as having a chance at not happening, Canelo has shown that he is willing to demand big fights instead of hiding behind promoters like almost every other fighter in the sport Cotto & GGG are just one division up so I don't think it's too much problem there Chavez jr would have to boil down it remains to be seen if he can get back down to 160.

drainelo will be drained to the bone. have hard time even making 154. and still you have this problem if pac agrees at 152. they refused to move past 150 vs. cotto.

this will be worse than the margo beating, vs. pac that beat bradley.

id give him all the props in the world, win, loss or draw vs ggg at 154-160.

If Canelo gets through Cotto Pacquiao should challenge for his 9th division title.

I can't wait for GGG to KO Canelo, and end his hype once and for all.
