    Sigh.

Lets all just ignore that they weighed the same in their mid 20s.

Lets all just ignore that they weighed the same in their mid 30s.

Lets all just ignore that they've been fighting in the same division for the last 5 years.

Lets all argue over 2 guys who weigh the same, but one is slightly rangier and one is slightly stockier.

Heaven forbid, people would just say they're basically the same size.

For some reason, if they can prove that Pacquiao is "smaller" that would mean that they're not hypocrits for saying Mayweather should fight MW's but that Pac would be too small.

Because heres the truth, NEITHER of them should be expected to fight MW's

    Whats with these ridiculous hypotheticals??

Im talking about 2 fighters who are now and have been since theuir mid 20s, the same size.

Their fit, sharp, optimal fighting weight is basically identical.

Talking about Mayweather increasing in body mass by 15% is just a ridiculously stupid comparison.

A more apt comparison to Pacquaio would be if Floyd was weighing in on fight night at 163 in his 20s, and was given 3-4 years to grow and fight Froch.

Thats what Pacquiao did. He cut weight and dehydrated himself to get a size advantage over his opponents and moved up the weights where he didnt have to cut so much weight, and put on a few extra pounds as he aged.

Pacquiao weighed 147 in the ring over 6 years ago!

Anyone with a brain and some common sense can see Pac is smaller than the ducker only *****s who have nothing but air inside their heads would say they are the same size or maybe even take stupidity to the next level which is usually the case with these losers and claim Pac is bigger than Floyd.

Floyd is a tad bit bigger but we're splitting hairs here so it's not really worth discussing. i

f they fight and Floyd won it wouldn't be because he was the bigger man, it'd be because he was the better man.

If Floyds fightingb weight was 163 in his 20s,while fighting at WW and he moved up over time and fought Froch, after winning titles at MW and SMW, then no, I wouldnt be making threads about who is bigger.

    That answer your question??

Because thats the equivalent of what Pac did.

It's obvious Floyd is bigger, what are you smoking op? Compare how they looked vs common opponents.

Floyd looked like giant vs Marquez, same size as Cotto, Same size as Mosley, a bit smaller than fully healthy ODLH.

Ah yes, the old eye test.

Lets just ignore facts, and go with our gut.

i'm not arguing because i don't have to, but if you insist:

nonewithstanding that we do get purple grass, especially at this time of year, the fact you present is related to but distinct from size. it illustrates they weigh in in the same division, it doesn't prove they are the same size. this is logic, and you're denying the evidence of your eyeballs and citing statistics. i asked a mathematician what the term for this is just the other day, he replied "stupidity".

****ish? a **** i may be, but i think i just don't suffer fools gladly, a challenge on this site.

So, by the exact argument you just used. If 2 fighters weigh the same but one is slightly taller, the the taller is bigger.

Then why dont you claim Froch is bigger than Ward?

Why are there no "Morales was bigger than Barrera" threads?

What is people fascination with trying to prove Floyd is bigger when all they've got to go on is an inch and a half in height.

They canjt use weight, because they're the same, so they use slight height advantages and make out that Floyd has some big size advantage over Pac.

Its like Pac fans feel threatened by the fact that Pacquiao is the same weight as Floyd and can no longer make a big deal out of this "little guy" winning titles.

So they exaggerate the slight height discrepancy between the two, and make threads on a bi-weekly basis about it.

Why they cant just say "Both of these people are essentially identical in size, with one being slightly taller and one being slightly sturdier" is beyond me.
    Frankly, its bizarre.

What some of you are saying is that someone has to weigh the same, have the same reach, and the same hight to be the same size.. So a Floyd clone is the only person who is the same size as him.. All because he has long arms...

I dunno, why do MOST fighters often not disclose their weight?

Its not a big deal. Some dont even bother doing them. They're not mandatory.
Its just something some TV stations do.

His 30 day weigh IS official, and he weighed 150.
