Grandpa has probably one more fight left in him, I'm not talking about handpicked bums like Alvarado, but a fight that could actually enhance his legacy who should he fight before hanging 'em up for good? time is running out, and not even Memo's roids can stop the clock Not many good options available for JMM Pac V - OSDT + lucky punches dont happen twice Floyd II - nobody wants to see this mismatch again. starting with JMM Brook - bad style for grandpa and wants to fight in England Khan - too fast Thurman - too big, strong and explosive any other names im missing?
maybe he should try to go for a 140 belt instead a real belt i mean, not the paper one he won in a desk
Marquez vs Porter, I'd like that one. If he wants a belt I'd like to see Pacquiao-Marquez V, even though it's been done to death. I like Mayweather's and Brook's odds against Marquez too much to see those fights.
I've only seen Brook fight Porter and although he won, he didn't look like a world-beater to me. Marquez poses completely different questions to Brook than Porter. Marquez would be a very live underdog.
let's be honest, even with Memo by his side, Marquez is simply too small and too old to compete with elite fighters not named Pac. I dont fancy his chances against any top lww or welter atm. maybe Danny Garcia? he's an overrated paper champion, he might be a bad style for Marquez on paper, but he's not fast like Floyd is and his skills are average at best. If Herrera can box his ears off, maybe Marquez has a good shot at him
