you are confused between size, height and weight. even length.

size =big/small
weight = heavy/light
height = tall short
length =long/ short

even widht =wide, narrow or thin.

weight is a good approximation of size and easy to measure.

again, when 2 boxers weighed similar, similar skills, height and length/reach becomes a factor.

that's why martinez, williams, margo, hearns etc were considered big ww's not because they are heavy(they all make ww) or gained so much on fight night but because of their height and reach considering that their speed (except margo) and stamina were pretty similar of that of small or regular ww'\s.

 

Not that height is the sole arbitrar of "size", but angles and whether people are wearing shoes or not can make these misleading.

again, it's not a thread claiming manny is smaller. check the title. for some reason *****s want their guy to hog all the credit for fighting bigger men, even though those same guys are even bigger against pac.

you saying my argument needs backing up because you've stated size = weight is a joke, and illustrates beautifully how you ain't arguing with me, but logic. if you're gonna deny logic, then by definition i can't counter you. size =/= weight. you're still claiming grass is purple.

But whatever it is, Floyd has more of it than Pac...

The most inclusive form of size for anything is mass. But then that doesnt take into account density. However as 2 prime athletes should have similiar density, mass would actually be a good means of measuring "size"

So if you want to be mind numbingly anal about it, you'd look for what square inch of volume they take up. This can be done by placing them in a pool of water and seeing how much water they displace.

Of course this will never happen, because frankly, who cares that much...
