    LOL @ "one demand"

    OSDT = demand
    No PPV revenue = demand
    Leave Top Rank = demand

    This is called competition. Showtime did well in 2013, HBO is doing better in 2014 and looking to secure 2015 as well. This see-saw battle will continue.

    Competition is what keeps the viewers interested. I'm glad Manny and HBO are climbing back to the top because this puts pressure on Floyd and Showtime to bring more value. Competition = value.

    Mosley and Marquez were freelancers, they are not committed to a particular promoter. Study your history *******!!!

    Hopefully for them, it doesn't backfire in their face.

    Seems like the vast majority on this forum do not like Alvarez, for whatever reason.

    It seems like most posters don't like him. That is based on my frequenting this site over the last 4 years. Most think he is a "cherry picker" with plodding footwork and no exceptional skills. I have always disagreed with these people, and the responses of those who agree with me are far lesser than those who disagree with me and continue to dislike him.

    After Canelo KO's him who cares if he's snatched? Showtime probably will because they could sell the corpse for another sad mayweather fight.

    I really don't see anything special in Canelo and never will ,he can't make 154 but doesn't want to fight MW ,but wants to come in the ring on fight night as a LHW. I see a big loss in this deal. Mexican fighters don't paid for his fights, they may like him but asked 20 mexicans do they pay to see him fight PPV and you will surprise on the answer.

    *****s Canelo opinion timeline:

    Before Fighting Floyd: "He's a bum!"
    After Fighting Floyd: "He's the future after Floyd retires! An incredible fighter!"
    Moving to HBO and competiting with Floyd PPV: "He's nothing special!"

    Pacquiao has HBO contract. I believe Cotto has short term HBO contract...like one more fight.

    There is some pressure for showtime to recoop their losses with a copromoted event ala tyson lewis. Only reason it won't happen is floyd is still good. He can still go to hbo to make the fight once his contract with showtime is up.
